“Hello Miss, we were requested by Officer Gabrielle to reheat his coffee and bring it to him. Is this his mug?”

“Oh yes, it is. That’s so nice of you,” the girly lady cheerily said. “Do you think I could be the one to bring it to him once it’s ready?”

“Sorry, Miss... The boss said no outsiders are allowed in there. It just so happens that Sir Gabrielle is a cop so our boss had to comply with his requests.

“Ohhhh… ok, I understand. But can I give the detective a little note with his coffee?”

The waitress, who happened to be Daisy, couldn’t help but smile a little at the romantic gesture of the cop’s girlfriend.
