EVEN MORE PROMISES
Eron grinned shyly as he took his large platinum ring with his packhouse symbol on it from his finger, and slowly inserted it in Diwa’s thumb since the ring was too big to fit his lady love’s other dainty fingers. Heck, even her thumb was still one to two sizes too small for his signet ring. But she let him put it on her hand anyway, with a meaningful smile since it is his, after all.

“Don’t worry, my love. When my buddies and I have dealt with the governor and have already put him behind bars, I promise to buy you a proper wedding ring to replace this big, bulky one,” he promised sincerely as his almond-shaped hazel eyes held her large dark brown ones in an intense gaze.

“I don’t mind, beloved. I will treasure everything you give me… Even your love and heart.”

Eron’s adoring, heartfelt and proud grin was so bright it seemed to light up the room as he continued saying his vows tenderly to the only woman who had owned his heart even before she even had realized it.
