FINALLY MEETING HIS WOLF

“I just finished doing the inventory for all food items in our two freezers Mama,” proudly announced the oldest among the Wolf children as she continued to go through a compact checklist on her blue springless notepad while writing down the available pastries, dishes and desserts in their kitchen. “We currently have 10 different kinds of fruit pies, seven savory ones, around fifty various fruit tarts, the same number of rice cakes, more than forty-five servings of creamed mushroom soup, a large party container of flat pasta noodles, along with double that volume of macaroni twists. One gallon each of creamy carbonara, cheesy pesto and Filipino sweet marinara sauce with hot dog slices, ground beef and grated cheese. Also, we still have a circular two-layer chocolate fudge cake with nuts and mini marshmallows. Last but not least, three dozen plastic-wrapped lava cakes, forty fudge brownies with various kinds of nuts, seventy butter scones stuffed with raspberry jam, a hundred each of ch
