THE RECOVERY ROOM

“Unggghhh… I feel like I’ve been through a blender…" And it looks like that’s exactly what happened to me…

Hero was awakened by a sharp pain in his chest which was pulsing above the low throbbing ache that he could feel throughout his whole back. His initial thought was that he hoped that Alicia wasn’t feeling any of these through their mate link.

His secondary thought was trying to remember what happened to him to cause all this.

And to do that, he tried to get his eyes to focus first so he could check out where he was…

So, I’m inside a marble tile tub that’s buried into the floor… Soaking in some sort of herbal, healing waters… And it seems there are a number of others that are lined up alongside mine… About a foot and a half apart… All white marble tiles all around and lining up this massive room’s floors and walls.
