In the dimly lit alleyway that connected Leonard's school to his neighborhood, Edgar and his gang of friends lay in wait. "Surprise!" Leonard shuddered as he walked into his house one Friday evening after school. There, standing with a big chocolate cake in her hands was his mother and the girl he loved.
