After being forcefully flung by one of the ninjas, Fina was hurled toward the forest.
She crashed straight into a thick, lush tree, the impact rattling her bones before she tumbled to the ground with a thud.
The fall left her scraped and bruised, her skin decorated with cuts and grazes.
Still, it could’ve been far worse.
Luckily, a branch had cushioned her descent, taking the brunt of the fall.
We can say that detail was probably the only reason Fina could still stand on her feet.
But she didn’t have time to recover.
The ninja was already on her trail, launching daggers in her direction.
Fina spotted the glint of moonlight reflecting off the blades and rolled to the side just in time, dodging them by a hair’s breadth.
“I commend your agility.” A voice spoke smoothly from the shadows. “But for a ninja, you’re far too slow.”
The ninja appeared beside her like a phantom, his kick slicing through the air.
Fina raised both hands in a guard, blocking the blow, though the impact still sent her skidding back.
She narrowed her eyes and quickly created distance between them, one hand slipping into her bag.
“That little trick you pulled earlier won’t work here…”
The ninja continued, stepping forward with deliberate menace.
“We’re in the forest. There’s no one around to hear your anti-stalker alarm. Face your fate… come to me willingly.”
From seemingly nowhere, the ninja produced another set of daggers.
“You’re the one who attacked us earlier…”
Fina snapped, standing firm.
“You talk like you’re hot stuff, but it looks like you brought friends this time. What happened? Too weak to fight us alone?”
The ninja didn’t flinch.
“After analyzing the events and gathering information, we concluded that the most efficient method of eliminating the boy with the erasure ability… was to separate him from his allies. He may have a powerful Gift, but he’s still a terrible fighter.”
He hurled the daggers again, forcing Fina to dart behind trees, zigzagging through the forest.
Fina pulled out a taser baton from her bag, flipping the switch. Blue sparks danced across the metal as electricity crackled.
She circled behind the ninja and lunged, swinging the baton. But the ninja twisted his body midair and swept her legs.
Fina hit the ground, gasping—but she quickly rolled and bounced back up, thrusting her taser toward him.
“Your martial arts could use some serious improvement…”
The ninja commented flatly.
He struck her in the stomach with a sharp kick.
Fina staggered back, clutching her midsection.
“That… hurts…” she hissed, glaring at him.
“What if you hit my stomach too hard? What if I can’t have kids anymore because of you? I’ll curse your entire bloodline.”
The ninja remained cold and composed, while Fina clearly struggled to keep her footing.
“You’re an ability user, but not a combat specialist. Fina Hoshisaki. Idol of your school. Known for being the cutest in your year and ambassador of peace. Height: 5'1", weight: 45 kg. Measurements: 36-24-36—ideal hourglass figure. Favorite food: salad. Hobby: watching children’s anime. Frequently cosplays as Precure while watching Precure movies.”
He took a step closer, voice unwavering. “You always arrive at school on time, always leave early with the excuse of a stomachache. You use your cuteness to gain favor with teachers. Ability name: Tracker—allows you to follow anyone whose DNA you possess. A stalker’s ability… fitting.”
Fina turned red, wrapping her arms around herself in embarrassment. “Wha—? Y-You’re the stalker here! H-How dare you know my bust and waist size?!”
“I’ve been observing you for days…” he said proudly. “I’ve taken notes. I know all your weaknesses.”
“See! You are a stalker!” Fina shouted back.
“I’ll end this by exploiting your biggest weakness…” He declared.
Tears welled up in Fina’s eyes.
She looked at him with disbelief—no, horror. This wasn’t a ninja. This guys is a S-class creep.
He sheathed his daggers and instead pulled out… photographs.
Fina’s heart stopped.
There were pictures of her sneaking into the theater in disguise to watch a magical girl movie.
A photo of her kissing her stuffed toys goodnight.
One of her in a Precure cosplay she’d posted privately online.
“Gyaaaaaaaaaa—!! HOW DARE YOU?!” she shrieked.
“Your main weakness is your embarrassment,” the ninja said calmly. “You’re ashamed of your true self. That is why you lose.”
“My true self has NOTHING to do with this battle! Now give those back!!”
“Oh really?” He smirked. “How about I upload them to the school’s public blog? Everyone will see the real Fina. Your cool, admired image will be destroyed—hah!”
“For a ninja, you’re incredibly dumb. Is your ability called blackmail, or are you just naturally evil?” she growled, clutching her taser, but not daring to move.
Fina’s mind raced. She wasn’t a martial artist. Her ability wasn’t meant for combat.
And now her weapon was being outmaneuvered.
She needed to outwit him.
“Just surrender already,” the ninja said, voice sharp. “Let me take you.”
“Wait… so your goal isn’t to kill me?” Fina blinked.
“That’s correct. You’re valuable bait. Thanks to you, we will have a way to eliminate one of the city’s S-class ability users… The fire princess, Amber.”
“EVERYONE LISTEN!” Fina suddenly shouted at the top of her lungs. “HE’S GOING TO KIDNAP ME!”
The ninja tilted his head, confused. “Huh?”
Suddenly, the trees rustled—and out poured a wave of angry men. They surrounded the ninja in a heartbeat, glaring daggers at him.
Many of them were ability users, and none looked happy.
“That’s him?! The scumbag trying to kidnap our goddess?!”
“What should we do with him?”
“Beat him like a dog! That’s his punishment!”
The ninja panicked, realizing he was completely surrounded. “W-What? Where did all these people come from?!”
He leapt toward a tree, hoping to escape—but one of the men summoned chains from the ground, wrapping around the ninja’s leg and slamming him back down.
Another cast a freezing ability, trapping the ninja in a block of ice.
“What’s his ability?” one of the guys asked.
“He doesn’t have one…” Fina sniffled.
A deduction Fina made while observing her target closely.
Fina started fake crying. “He just fights with daggers and speed. But now that he’s pinned down, he’s helpless.”
Then she turned to her audience and wailed.
“He tried to hurt me! He stalked me! He blackmailed me with embarrassing photos! What’s so wrong with loving anime?! What’s so wrong with kissing my plushies?! What’s so wrong with cosplaying magical girls?! WHAAAAAA!”
The men’s expressions darkened.
“How DARE he make our goddess cry?!” someone shouted.
“KILL HIM!” the fanboys roared in unison.
…
Earlier, while the ninja was still bragging about all the information he had on her, Fina had secretly activated an SOS signal from her bag. It was a beacon linked to her fan club’s emergency alert system.
Her loyal fanboys dropped everything and rushed to her rescue.
Just as the ninja had said, Fina was ridiculously popular. And her fans? Completely obsessed.
There was one crucial piece of data the ninja failed to account for:
Fina’s cuteness… was a weapon.
…
While the boys eagerly took turns pulverizing the ninja, Fina quietly slipped away from the scene.
She had to help Noah. There were still two other ninjas out there.
And this battle was far from over.

World Rejector Chapter 5: Saint White
Outside of New Silicon Valley, in the ruins of what was once the European countryside, stood a temple untouched by time and war. A sanctuary for those who despised the existence of ability users. They called themselves the White Cult.Inside the grand, candlelit chamber, robed figures knelt in silence. At the altar, a young woman in pristine white vestments stood, hands delicately clasped as if in prayer. Her silver hair shimmered under the soft glow of flickering flames, and her blue eyes held an ethereal serenity. This was White—their revered leader, the chosen voice of their so-called divinity.Yet, beneath the gentle facade, something flickered.A kneeling disciple, drenched in sweat, trembled before her. “The operation in New Silicon Valley… it has failed. The ability user was captured.”White’s expression did not falter. She exhaled slowly, the ghost of a smile playing on her lips. “Is that so?” Her voice, gentle and measured, was like the whisper of a mother singing a lullaby.

Chapter 19: Investigation
“You’ve got a deep cut… Still, you're fortunate that you're near the hospital.”The doctor said.I glanced down at my arm—it was fully healed. Not a trace of pain or a scar remained. Medical technology had truly advanced in Neo Silicon Valley.“Thank you very much.”I said with a bow of gratitude.“No problem… Helping people in need is a doctor’s job.”The doctor turned to the window, his gaze distant as if looking beyond the horizon.“Neo Silicon Valley is in a constant state of threat. Terrifying things happen left and right in this city. I hate that some people blessed with abilities can just hurt others without consequence.”“Then, doctor… would you prefer a world without ability users?” I asked, my voice calm but curious. He didn’t answer immediately. Chapter 18: Stroll with Fina
For some reason, I felt uncomfortably dense as I walked side by side with Fina down the crowded streets of Neo Silicon Valley. Now that I think about it, this is my first time being alone with Fina. She was beautiful—just like the other girls in the team—but maybe that was the reason I felt this strange pressure. No... that’s not it.Fina was attractive, sure, but her looks alone didn’t affect me much. This uneasiness was different. It was the kind of discomfort you feel when you're with someone you don’t really know.Aside from being the organization’s data analyst, I knew next to nothing about her. I wasn’t here to flirt or impress—just to guard her. That’s my job. I needed to stay focused.I glanced around the street, trying to stay alert.Multiple boys in school uniforms shot me sharp glares, and some even looked like they were on the verge of tears. Wait... were they crying?I reevaluated my earlier deduction. That dense feeling wasn’t from nervousness—it was the eerie sensation
Chapter 17: The line I don't want to cross
The whole place was dark and silent. But as I stared into the pitch-black corridor, I couldn't help but feel something was staring back at me.A bead of cold sweat slid down my cheek, and I swallowed hard."Are you feeling scared?"The voice came from the girl beside me, dressed in a black military outfit, her knife gleaming faintly in the dim light. Her name was Sion, the most agile member of the Flames organization."There’s no way I’m feeling scared."I replied, shaking off the chill crawling up my spine. We were in the middle of a mission: to capture a rogue scientist conducting illegal experiments in this abandoned building. The information we received was vague, but the risk level was high. Sion didn’t seem bothered at all."That’s good."Sion murmured.Suddenly, the ceiling above us groaned and then collapsed. From the shadows above, our target dropped down with a loud crash, landing with two monstrous, wolf-like beasts by his side. The floor trembled slightly beneath their wei
Chapter 16: Nether
Beneath the sprawling infrastructure of Neo Silicon Valley, hidden deep within the massive underground canal system, was a path leading to a place known only to a select few—the Nether. The entrance was narrow, dark, and coated in a sticky dampness that clung to everything.Massive rats scurried across the path, and insects skittered along the slick walls. But for those who knew the way and followed a specific path through the maze-like tunnels, it would lead them to the hidden sanctuary. The underground of Neo Silicon Valley was an enigma—a vast labyrinth beneath a modern city, forgotten by time and untouched by technology. And within its depths stood the Nether, a colossal temple-like structure carved from ancient stone. Towering statues lined its chamber: one of an angel with wings spread wide, another of a stoic human holding a book, and the third of a demon with twisted horns and outstretched claws. Each figure towered over the room like silent watchers. It was a place shrouded
Chapter 15: Aftermath and Beginning
A few hours after the incident, police officers swarmed the ruins of the school, their flashing lights painting the night in alternating red and blue. The air still carried the acrid scent of smoke, and the remnants of the battle smoldered in the darkness.Amber and I lingered just long enough to assess the damage before slipping away unnoticed. As agents of the Dark Side, drawing the attention of law enforcement was the last thing we needed.Investigations meant scrutiny, and scrutiny meant risking exposure—something our organization couldn’t afford. The damage that Amber created to the school was expensive for sure.By the time the authorities pieced together their report, the incident was labeled another terrorist attack.I couldn’t help but scoff at the official statement.Technically, they weren’twrong... However, it was Amber who had reduced the school to rubble. After arriving back to Amber’s apartment, Amber collapsed into bed without even bothering to eat. Exhaustion clung to
