Chapter 18: The Three Mountains

The more you convert the skill points in a day, the higher the rate of exchange.

For example, he once tried it and for the frits time, the rate of exchange is divided by only a fraction, then half then it became higher and higher until you could exchange in a loss.

So, it is better to convert it all at once rather than slowly exchanging it. And there might be a cool down to the high rates of exchanging.

It could be used to raise ranks of skill and use to raise the ranks of power levels and so on and so forth.

Even though he had this ability Li Xin did not think of using it since it would be a waste. Gold on the other hand did not have that much of a use.

So, it is better to use the money he had to buy things in the system store even though it cost more.

And then he looks at his current power level. He taps the tab on his status window and the description of the power level quickly popped out in front of his face.

Host has reached One with the World grandmaster rank, possessing powerful internal energy. Because of the amount of the host internal energy, the host is now unlocking more new abilities.

The host is rewarded with the ability to teach people martial art skill which would not only spread the martial path to other people but also increase one proficiency and gain skill points in certain circumstances

The host is also rewarded with the unlocking of item limit which is now at ten item limit.

With the increase in the host storage of inner energy, the host could now use the inner energy for other uses.

Unlocking Spiritual Perception which could be used to sense dangers and enemies even when you are not looking. This Spiritual perception range is based on the purity and amount of inner energy

Please uses all this unlocked benefits to increase your progression toward the martial path

It had a lot of benefits.

But some of them is something that he doesn’t need like teaching people.

 After all, he did not yet want to open up a school or a sect. And even if he wanted to who would learn from someone so young

He at least need to build up his reputation and his name recognition before opening a sect or a school.

As for the unlocking item limit it had already open up in his status window. The most useful abilities out of all the abilities that he gets when he breaks through to One with the World is the spiritual perception.

Li Xin is quiet sure that you did not get this ability unless you trained for it. He just sighed.

‘This is the unfairness of the system’ he thought to himself.

When he plays the game, he is like the other NPCs in the game.

The only difference was that he knows what to do and the quest pointed him to ways of getting stronger.

And he could see his own progress.

The same thing could not be said for the NPCs of the game. And it is the same right now. Li Xin at least could see his progress

That could motivate him

But that is not the case for the people of this world. And he even easily masters all kinds of skill easily.

But even when he was a player, he was not as fast as this in increasing his inner energy.

But the problem with his inner energy is that it is a lot of waste when using it.

His inner energy is pure because of the practice Opening of Sea of Energy is one of the highest method of opening the meridian to access Qi.

Li Xin is quite confident if this method is taught to someone who could not access Qi, by learning it, they could access Qi.

Of course, that is the only function of it. To open the first meridian to access Qi.

But since that is the only thing it does, it could not help with increasing inner energy fast.

It is clear that while it is very effective in opening the accessing Qi meridian and giving the practitioner a pure energy to work with, it did nothing more than that.

 It is tempting to buy it but Li Xin believes in his plans. Once he is serious with something, one should not underestimate his ability to make it true.

He then looks back at his status window. Since he is still at his room, it is better to review it all. He looks at his Place of Learning

In the status window his place of learning is Jianghu.

Which basically just means he is a rootless wandering hero.

There is a lot of schools and sects that he could join.

Of course, now that he has the system, he could also just wander the world and did not have to worry about learning skills

When he was playing the game, the only way to learn a martial skill is to enter the sects or the school.

In the game he is quite weak and he knows he had no chance of trying to join great sects so he just joined a normal sect.

he is regretting that now. if not he might know even more news about Jianghu and he could have more plans

Though the Divine Sword Mountain is not that bad of a place.

The three great sect is Righteous Temple in Henan sat on top of Mount Song, one of the Three Mountains of Wulin.

This is the title given to three of the premier lands of martial skill.

Righteous Temple had many divine monks and their most famous skill is the Supreme Yang Divine technique and their Yijin Jing

Then there is the Cloud Gate on top of Wudang Mountain in Hubei province on the mountain range of Mount Chansang and Mount Taihe

They have residence on the soaring peaks and deep valleys.

On the main peak, the Tianzhu Peak, it is said that there is a grandmaster of Wulin sitting there making the status of Cloud Gate is very high in Wulin

And then there is the Divine Sword Mountain on Huashan (Mount Hua)

Out of this three, Divine Sword Mountain might be the most ideal choice for Li Xin if he ever wanted to learn the martial skill from a school.

For the Righteous Temple he has to become a monk. Of course he could always pretend to be a monk then broke the precepts after learning the skills.

But Li Xin even though in the game he had never gone to the Righteous Temple he knows that the Righteous Temple have many Divine Monks.

 If he learns the skill of the Righteous Temple and then broke the precepts and run away from the temple, Li Xin believe that he would be dragged back to the Temple to be imprisoned in the Punishment Mount

As for the Cloud Gate, they rarely open their mountain gate.

 So, out of the three Divine Sword Mountain seems to be the easiest to join.

Of course, it is only after compared to the two. These three mountains are not the only one that have powerful martial art skill.

Only that they are the ones that are very public and influential even outside of Wulin. If Li Xin did not have the system, these sects and schools would also be his target.

But since he has the system, learning the martial skill is no longer a problem. This is the conclusion he reached.

Unless he is forced or there is something wrong with the system or there is some benefit for him to enter a sect, he would probably not join any schools or sect.

After all, if he could remain free, why would he purposefully chain himself?
