Chapter 6
"Who's making all that noise outside?"

Elmer, who was already angry, slammed the table and yelled in a fit of rage due to the shouting from outside.

"No idea...but it seems to be someone that's looking for Fred?" Someone replied immediately.

When Elmer heard these words, he became even more furious. "That piece of sh*t again? Even so, no Tom, Dick, or Harry is allowed to just shout outside of our household!"

Elmer was visibly angry from being cut off when he was speaking. It was like his position as head of the house was challenged.

Immediately, he got up and harrumphed. "Come, let's go have a look and see who has the audacity!"

Saying that, Elmer had already got up and walked out furiously. Seeing this, the other Cadman family members naturally followed suit, wanting to see who dared to come to anger them.

The group of people was furious and greatly provoked.

Under the leadership of Elmer, they soon arrived at the entrance.

They saw that the entrance was completely blocked by a large group of people, all looking as if they were looking for trouble.

"Who are you people? How dare you block the entrance of our house? Don't you know the Cadman family..."

Slap!

Elmer, who was about to pour out his anger, was halfway through with his words when he was hit across the face with a loud slap.

The person who did it was a middle-aged and slightly chubby man. He had a face full of anger as he grunted. "What don't we know about the Cadman family, Elmer? You sure have a loud voice! You dare show this kind of attitude toward me?"

Alan?

The head of the Graham family, Mr. Graham's father?

As soon as these words came out, everyone from the Cadman family felt their knees getting weak. As for Elmer, he instantly changed his aggressive look. Not even caring about his red face, he hurriedly squeezed out a flattering smile and said obsequiously, "Mr. Graham, you...What brings you here? I...I..."

"I'm not in the mood to chit-chat!"

With a wave of his hand, he directly interrupted Elmer's words and coldly snorted. "The Cadman family has really done it this time! You asked my son out to talk about business, but you were plotting to harm him all along? My son is in a coma now. You better give me a proper explanation now, or I'll make sure I annihilate the Cadman family!"

Talk about business?

Plot to harm him?

In a coma?

The series of words mentioned baffled the entire Cadman family. Elmer hurriedly asked in return. "Mr. Graham...is there a mistake? Your son got into an accident?"

"Still trying to pretend?"

Alan harrumphed. "Did your Valerie ask to meet my son at a hotel yesterday?"

Once these words came out, everyone's eyes instantly focused on Valerie.

Valerie instantly looked at a loss for words. Seeing that everyone was looking at her, she could not care less about her face and hurriedly defended herself. "I...I waited for young Mr. Graham all night last night, and he...he didn't even turn up!"

"You little bitch, even if you failed to meet my son, then what about Fred, that animal?" Alan said angrily.

Everyone froze at these words and then instantly understood everything.

After all, all the Cadman family members present knew what Valerie had gone to do last night.

That was, to strip naked and present herself to Mr. Graham on a bed. Fred was Valerie's husband, which meant...

"Where is that animal, Fred? Bring him to me!" Elmer roared without hesitation.

Someone hurriedly trotted away. Not long after, a man pushing a wheelchair appeared in front of everyone. It was Fred.

"Uncle, what do you want from me?"

With the same blank face and monotonous voice, Fred opened his mouth as he asked.

"Are you Fred, the little devil who joined the Cadman family?"

Obviously, a person of status such as Alan had never seen him before, the man everyone in Sea City knew was the son-in-law of the Cadman family. Seeing that Fred was actually wheelchair-bound, he immediately frowned.

"Who are you?" Fred asked, raising his eyes.

Without waiting for Alan to speak, Elmer had already grabbed Fred's collar and angrily reprimanded him. "B*stard, still pretending?"

"You wimp, you eat and drink at the expense of the Cadman family, and now you bring trouble to the family, and you still have the face to ask questions?"

"I don't even know what happened, why can't I ask?" Fred said indifferently.

His words and attitude made Alan, who was already suppressing his anger on the side, suddenly explode.

"Good God, what is this family! To lay hands on my son and still say that you don't know what happened?

"Very well! Mark my words, it's over for you all Cadmans!"

Swish!

The fierce tone of his voice, coupled with his intimidating identity, instantly made everyone in the Cadman family fall into despair.

Valerie even rushed forward and grabbed Fred with one hand.

"You...you're still sitting? Can't you see that because of you, my family is going to be done for? Hurry up and get on the floor! Kneel to Mr. Graham to make amends and beg his forgiveness!

"Five years! What did I do in my past life to deserve being married to you, you loser! No money, no power, and you can't even stand up! Now my whole family is going to be finished because of you, you...why don't you go to hell!"

Valerie was pulling and tugging, as if she wanted to pull Fred down from his wheelchair. Even though she knew that Fred's legs were disabled and he was not able to get down, she still wanted him to kneel in front of Alan and the others.

Her words are vicious and heartbreaking.

These were from his own wife!

His legal wife!

Even though the two had been married for five years, they never really had the bond of a husband and wife. Since joining the Cadman family, he has been subservient to her in every way, even in a wheelchair. Whether it was washing dishes or cooking, he never failed to do them.

Last night, she resolutely picked up the hotel room card and entered the room of Mr. Graham

Now, she was expecting him to hand himself over to be killed?

With a long sigh, Fred slowly raised his head.

"I have never knelt in front of anyone in the world, and no one has dared to tell me to die!"

Fred's eyes shone brightly as he looked directly at Valerie and asked, word for word. "You want me to kneel? You want me to die?"

"Yes, so what? Who do you think you are?"

Valerie had no intention of letting it go. She dragged Fred while saying with disgust. "You're just a loser. A loser, you know that! Never knelt before? Then you're asking for the entire Cadman family to be buried alongside you! You better kneel! Kneel for me!"

Wham!

All of a sudden.

A strong wind blew up from Fred with such intensity that it actually lifted Valerie, who had been dead set on tugging him to the floor.

"You..."

Valerie landed on the floor in a painful heap; she showed an expression of surprise.

She saw Fred, who looked indifferent, as always, but he sounded like a stranger when he spoke this time.

"Let's get a divorce!"
