CHAPTER FIFTY EIGHT.

Chris wasn’t looking forward to seeing anyone even as the jailer told him he had a visitor. Having finally understood the fact that he couldn’t save himself even if he wanted too, gave him a kind of peace he didn’t know existed within him. He was already repenting for his crimes and it was better that way, maybe the universe may decide to forgive him one day for ruining the life of a teenage girl years ago.

When he reached the visitor’s lounge and saw his sister and his brother, he sighed. Were they here to lecture him again?He was genuinely tired of having them around all the time when they were not even doing anything to help him get out of jail.

“Why are you here?” He asked as he lowered himself on the chair, “I didn’t remember calling you here”

Alvanon and Nessa could see the distaste in his voice and they could understand why he was angry. After all, they let him down.

“Mother and father were arrested”

This finally piqued his interest and he sat up,
