Luke West, is a 21-year-old college slacker, has two great passions in life—gaming and skipping class. But if there’s one thing he truly despises, it’s rodents. Rats, in particular. Creepy, sneaky, and downright disgusting. He can’t stand the sight of them. One fateful day, on his way to pick up the latest game release, Luke is hit by a truck. Just before the darkness takes him, he catches a glimpse of something impossible—a rat grinning at him. When he wakes up, it’s not in a hospital bed. No, it’s worse. Much worse. He’s been reincarnated as a rat. A creature he’s hated his whole life. Forced to live among the very vermin he loathes, Luke is determined to survive, plotting a way to escape this nightmare. But the more time he spends among the rats and other beastmen, the more he starts to see the truth: maybe it’s not the rats or the beastmen who are the problem—maybe humans are the real pests. Just when he’s coming to terms with his new life, he learns of a brewing revolution. The rats and their fellow brethren are planning to rise up and overthrow humanity. ‘So this is death?’ Sal thought as he stared at darkness, at least that was what his brain told him. Something flickered, it looked tech, it was blue. ‘Uhn?’ Sal stared at it after it materialized. [Initiating Atomic System] [Do you wish to accept, if you do so, you will be moved into a distinct universe] [You have ten seconds] A countdown panel appeared. “What is this?” Sal asked confused as he stared at the countdown on the panel. “A distinct universe?, meaning I get to live another life? It's worth it, even if a demon's taking control of my soul, I still get to live again, I guess I'll go with it” Sal contemplated. “I accept,” Sal murmured. [Host complies] [Atomic System activated] [Searching for suitable world…] [Suitable World found] [Initiating all settings] [Initialization complete] [You will now be sent to your world] ‘what?’ Sal's Vision darkened.
