Volume 7 - The midnight channel (16)
No keywords […]22nd DecemberI had all the generals of my army group assemble for a strategy meeting. We talked about my world domination around a cup of coffee.I could’ve taken all the decisions, but I am not one to believe my own decisions are better than others. Everyone has valid input, especially when they were written to be better than me. Don't misunderstand, they aren't that great, but I wrote my greatest as their lowest, which made their greatest, or even average, way higher than what I could imagine. This is the advantage of the method I found of writing characters through story. You can set u

I am just regularly presented with a choice by the two devils, and I was presented with a choice over which I preferred killing half of humanity. Today, I tried faking my sleep, but it didn't work. Right: So, kid, yesterday wasn't really funny, you know? Left: Yeah, why choose the forest fire? You could have chosen to bring back Vikings! Right: So, today, you have an interesting choice! Left: Either you become the holy sect's saint… Right: Either you become a totally isolated shut-in! Let's see, on one hand, I don'

Author's note - Addressing Volume 8
For the anecdote, at the time, I was tired of writing sad shit, and I saw the direction it was going to take, so I ended it extremely early, as I wanted to quickly go to something else. At least it was how I saw it, but in fact, I think it was an early sign of the burnout I'd have soon after, which had me stopping volume 9 after only a chapter and a half, and globally going into hiatus for 2 years. Even to me, volume 8 felt extremely rushed despite having good ideas, so I feel really bad about it. I think it's the first volume I will write a continuation of, as it is the most rushed. I don’t remember what D.D. stands for, tho.
