31. A Very Stormy Ride
Some of the richest places of culture and wellness are within the depths and the heights of the Second Heavens. True that they are the ones who are the closest to the first Heavens which is the abode of demons and every foul spirit. Yet they have the most origin story than most places which have ever existed, that is, if you did not consider the fact that teh Eledumare made the humans. For the fact that Eleduare made the humans, that should be more than enough to compete for more authenticity than any other story.  Sorry, creators Privilege. Who are we to contest that? Certainly not me, I must say!  The Second Heavens is largely dominated by the Drakoniain Confederacy which is more than a World Power. It is a Super World Power and even if it is not openly admitted, most of the shows on stage are run by the drakons and there is very little the other dWorld Powers in the area could do about it. That said, the other populace would be the Adze Circle, some outp

32. Break Through
Bayo braced himself this time, shutting out the massive echo of pain within all of his joints.  'One more' he told himself, trying to encourage his tired limbs and weary wings. He had to push. If he did not push, then it was assuredly, he would die. And that was not within his plans. He did not get a new life to sign up for a short death entry. He wanted to love this new chance he got at life to the fullest. To make the best of friends, the best of memories and help people as much as he could.  Even though he had said to himself that he would rather be alone than be with people, there was still that lingering sensation of being around people. The sort of feeling he had experienced by being with Jaspar.  Commitment, respect, that sort of thing was what he wanted. And Dying here, was rudely ripping that dream from him. 'Wont… die… here!' Bayo muttered within his painstruck mind. His vision was hazy, his wings weary. The fa

33. Crashing into Demon Turf
Why was she thundering?  Why was she furious? If she knew she was.going to be angry, why had she not actually done the lots to save Laaroye? And even if Ogun had protected those humans from any hurt, rendering herpowee storms against them ineffective, could she not have beseeched another god to help convince Ogun? Or even still, she was supposed to be all knowing, with the theory we all have about the gods, right? Could she not have found that out earlier and directed Laaroye not to sleep home? There are several theories and alternative courses of actions that have been drafted out. Many blame the Goddess for the death, as did Laarpue himself but then, we all fail to notice that the Gods are really not that invincible. As much as I say this, I am not blaspheming but only speaking from the facts and theories that have presented themselves over time.  To humans this may differ but to this spirit beings, an Orisa is only as strong as the Law he

34. Demon Turf
In the Second Heavens, there is the noticeable presence of many schemes which are placed to ensure there is easier living. WHy do I say this? In fact, this is no matter of why I say this or rather why must I state this?  As the custodian of scrolls,  I am exposed to so many knowledgeable pieces of information that are deposited in almost every of the Seven Heavens. That is, the heavens which are above us that are allowed for us to mingle with. Which of course, you would agree that this does not pass the realm of the gods, above that, there is no ore that we can lay hold on to make detailing on.  So, then, having made this known, it is not in the question of whether I am qualified to lay down these facts. It is more of a question to know If I can effectively lay the fact judas it is. This context now refers to the place whereby the information i

35. Demon Turf II
Unless the divinity Orisha had spoken to her as regards that. Which would be nearly impossible. Oya was not exactly friendly to the other Orishas.  So then what could Oya that could really salvage the entire situation? She hated to let down on those who really counted on her. Or maybe it was simply because she was pissed that Laaroye had cursed her right before he died. Still, she did the unthinkable.  She had gone ahead to the Boat of the dead. Her mission was pretty much simple. Itw as to retrieve a particular soul, the soul which was Laaroye.  Now, before this, Oya was the Intercessor for the dead souls of some sorts. SO then when she had gone to meet Iku, the Divinity of Death, she had been on some sort of familiarity grounds with him. However, death is always death. He didn't really enjoy her

36. Demon turf III
The Orisha that we have would never band together unless of course, there was something which was universe level threatening.  You could attribute this to the fact that the Orisha are individually egoistic, being that they have come into massive power. And so they did not see anyone else as their equals. But then the female Orishas were known to also band together sometimes.  Then you could also analyze and rationalize that it was the men who were filled with their manly egos and all but then the real truth is this, the Gods would never band together, male and female unless there was something that was really universe level threatening.  Recall that the Orisha had been created by Eledumare as  guardians of the various aspects of reality. So, then again, saddled with this responsibility, it was

37. Demon Turf IV
In this new place where he had come to call the heavens, the real currency in this place was Agbara, the proper name for Ambient energy that usually flow all about the place. The laws which were being used were only to manipulate the Agbara to do their biddings.  Therefore, Byao thought, if he was actually going to make it out here, then he would have to make sure that he had hsi tanks filled out already. And honestly, he was pretty much emptied out.  Looking farther around, there was no source of Agbara replenishment. It was safe to say that the First Heaven was really dried out in terms of this sort. In a way, while it was comforting to know that it was this dry because he had not run into any other life form around him. At least, any life form which was daring enough to come to him, but then again, it was depressing because it was a two way thing

38. The Compromise
You see the perk about being the King of the Orisha is that you just learn to equally balance both sides with one side feeling cheated in any way. It was a task which was fit for only one person. A duty which once again proved the versatility and resourcefulness of Obatala as the one who could truly lead the God  Faced with the battling of the Gods against Iku, he had to think fast. Obatala had to make the decision which would kke the cut in the long run. A compromise. One which if he did take, both sides would be equally sated. He could not just side with Oya; that would be prejudice on her side. Neither could he side with Iku; that would be impeding his work duty. And also favoritism. Still, he owed both of them the right thing. Which was a seemingly tough one to do.  He could not deny Oya of the justice she wanted for Laaroye. Knowing fully well that Ogun had been involved, if he did lave the matter unresolved then the tendeclncy

39. Interwined in Demon Combat
Faced with the task at hand, the mind of Obatala, King of the Gods was rally conflicted.  Even if he had to step up to it in finding a loophole in which both parties could be satisfied, he could not avert the fury of the rest of the gods. The fury of the rest of the gods who had been thrown into the hassle and had expectantly faced defeat at the hands of Iku in his domain. The Orisha as powerful as they are, have this sense of narcissism. This is something which we do not debate, as it is regarded as godly pride. Or something to which the worth of a God can be determined.  Still in the layman terms, narcissism is narcissism. The gods held themselves highly based on their Aspectual Laws and because of this, taking a defeat from Iku had stung so badly.  Even though they knew the exact reasons why they were being thrashed. As it was because they were battling him in his domain. Unfortunately, this was something their hurt egos did not allo

40. Unfriendly Faces
Bayo barely had his life in his own possession by the time the whole atmosphere had cooled down. Or rather calmed down. To use cool in a place like this was grossly an understatement. If he was not here in flesh and soul then he would have argued that. But being here was different. There was never anything cool or warm in this place. It was always hot. And the recent battle in this place had not helped at all. The temperature had spiked up worse than it was initially, so much that Bayo began to perspire. Tongue hanging out, he moved, trying to make sense of what to do next. It was clear to him, however. What he had to do next was for him not to die. At least, for him to spend some moments alone without having to race for his life. And the recent adventure he had undertaken, Bayo admonished himself, that had balls. To steal bits of Agbara from the two raging and battling creatures that had fought themselves to death? If he had not been
