Mash had caught up with Ken as he was heading towards his car, hoping to have a long wait till the doctor arrived.

They walked past the hallway into Mash’s office, then Mash paused for some minutes to turn on the air conditioner and roll the curtains before gesturing to Kendrick to come have a seat.

“Thanks, doctor,” Kendrick said as he lowered himself into the chair, clearing his throat. “I am here to make inquiries about the autopsy results… I hope you’re aware of the situation on ground?”

Mash narrowed his eyes, “Oh, yes sir, I understand so well that you happen to be the man who was accused of maiming the lady before now.”

Kendrick smiled, “you are not wrong if you think of it that way, doctor.” he replied calmly.

“so, why would you still be interested in the whole thing when you had cleared your name from the whole issue?”

Kendrick smiled, “of course, you can’t conclude that I was done with it all… my lawyer is the one to handle the case in two days.”
