7. Revenge begins now!

Since accepting Edmundo's offer, Alexander's life had never been the same. Despite Edmundo's help and connections, it was his love for him that helped him overcome the pain of losing his mother. The betrayal he felt in the last six months was nothing compared to the pain of losing his mother. It made him feel like he was dying.

Vivian had dumped him suddenly because of his status. But now, he was one of the richest billionaires in the city, with the city in his palms and big connections no one could ever imagine. He didn't know whether he would become a trillionaire or something bigger in the future, but his wealth was growing rapidly.

As he looked at her, his hunger for revenge grew. "I'm just a staff here, Mrs. Robert. I'm sorry, but your invitation was canceled," he said.

Vivian, who had been overwhelmed with shock, finally sighed. "Ha! Can't believe it's you again, Alex," she clicked her tongue, gazing at him up and down. "Mother nature says it all. I knew there was no way you could be the owner of the party. Over my dead body would that be true. Once a slave, always a slave."

She made a girly laugh. She initially thought he was the CEO based on how he dressed. But she didn't believe he could get rich so fast in just six months.

Alex clenched his fists, glaring. Here she was again, taunting him. However, she could remain in the dark for all he cared. "Says someone who's a bitch that can't keep to one man. Once you're done talking, you leave with your partner."

Her anger flared and she raised her hand to slap him. However, Alex saw it in time and held it mid-air. The bodyguards who knew his identity wanted to intervene, but he signaled them to stay back.

Even Daniel wanted to intervene, but Alex's scary aura, coupled with the stare from the bodyguards held him back.

Vivian burned, a surprised glare shooting at his hand holding hers. Alex was never one to defend himself. What gave him the guts? "How dare you, Alex?"

Alex scoffed and flung her hands aside, causing her to stumble. "You dare to raise your hand against me?"

"I'll do it again and again so you come to your fucking senses and learn what true wealth is!" she shouted. "And you call me a bitch when it took you so long to make just ten thousand dollars? Look at me, Alex. This dress and this bag are worth forty thousand dollars. And soon, I'll be signing a partnership with this company..." she taunted non-stop.

Alex clenched his fists, his eyes red, looking at the woman who had shattered him without giving a damn, after all he had gone through because of her. She didn't know what was coming for her.

"Baby, let's go. Stop wasting your time talking to a vegetable," Daniel urged, taking her hand. But she stopped him. "You can wait for me in the car. I'm not done yet," she insisted and turned back to Alex. Daniel decided to stay with her.

"Enough, Mrs. Robert. I have things to do," Alex stated calmly, ready to leave. Then she laughed again, and her words made him stop. He was already at his breaking point.

"Oh really? So tell me, loser, what are you going to do now? Continue cleaning toilets or watch the event to ensure that losers like you don't waltz in? Pfft, my father did me a favor finding a real man, sparing me from marrying a loser who can't even feed himself twice a day. So, how's your dear mother doing? Bet she regrets giving birth to a useless son," she sneered, twirling a strand of her hair.

But her words hurt Alex deeply. "Respect my late mother," he retorted in an icy tone. But she mockingly imitated his voice, going further to relish in his pain.

"Oh! So she's dead. That pathetic woman is where she won't suffer anymore. I'm sure raising you was hard on her. You brought her nothing but stress, mama's boy. She gave birth to a worn-out bastard, a loser who's still struggling. My dad just took away sorrows and brought happiness. Otherwise, I would have been struggling with you and your poor mother. The daughter of the Argent family married to a church rat? Nah, it doesn't make any sense, dude. You stink!" She jeered.

Alex had enough, shaking his head in disbelief. If looks could kill, Vivian would be dead by now. "So, this is the real you, Vivian. You've shown me your true face," he took a step closer, his eyes piercing. "Changed because of money, huh? Be ready to lose all of it!"

Vivian cringed at his threatening words and couldn't help but yell in anger, "How dare you speak to me like that, you son of a gun!"

Ignoring her, Alex stormed off and climbed the fleet of stairs to the hotel manager's office, shutting the door with a bang. After a few minutes, the bodyguards followed suit. All of them inside the office, at the sight of him, including the manager, instantly bowed their heads.

They saw how upset he was and fear grew in them.

"Who dares to upset Alexander the Great!" Shouted the high-pitched voice of Mr. Collins Deen, the hotel manager, with his head still bowed.

Alex slammed his fists on the table, his fury mood activated. "Mr. and Mrs. Robert must leave the hotel immediately! They are banned from ever entering or holding any events here, or any other hotels associated with Hotel Cestello!" he demanded angrily, his fists clenched on the table, eyes turning red. It was time to teach them a lesson.

Collins's mouth was agape, shocked by the demand, but he knew there was no use arguing. Alexander had the power to do and undo as he pleased. He approached Alex, moving closer.

"Yes, sir! It is done already!" he exclaimed, hurrying out of the office.

Alex's personal manager and assistant stepped forward. The manager, Mr. Barney, observing the immense fury filling his boss, asked, "What needs to be done, sir?"

"At that moment, the only thing on my mind was to beat them till they were covered in blood!" His cold hearted assistant Rockson, who was acting as a bodyguard and was there the whole time, growled with clenched fists.

Alex simply thrust his hands into his pockets. "That would only soil my hands with their contaminated blood. I want you to cut all ties with their company, ensuring they have no support or assistance from any major corporations. Diminishing their sales won't be enough; I want to strip away everything she holds. Let anyone who dares to help them face the same fate as their company," he sneered, a smirk forming on his face.

"Consider it done!" his assistant responded.
