4: A Slap On The Face

"You... of all people... you don't have the right to talk to me like that. After all I have done for you. After sacrificing so much for you... You don't have the right to talk to me in that manner!" Jace expressed in pain and annoyance.

"And what are you going to do about that? Are you going to beat me up for that? Expose to the world what really happened? Do you think you can still speak up about it after all these years?" Ken said as he laughed.

Ken continued, "In your dreams! No one is even going to pay attention to you at all. You're only going to be talking trash and look dumb even before their eyes! So you should get out of here already. Go find a life for yourself."

As Jace stood there angrily staring at him, he had a lot of words he wanted to say. He wanted to bash back at him but he knew his words weren't even going to be taken seriously at all. So he didn't bother.

"What? Are you still here Mr Goodie with two shoes? Do you want me to give you a lift in my extensive new car? Oh, I already can tell that you can't even afford it, so maybe I should do this for you at least," As he spoke, Nora and Kai walked out of the mansion like a loving couple.

At the sight of Jace, they frowned. "You? What the hell are you doing here again? Why are you here again?" Nora questioned.

Jace turned his attention to the two shocked faces. It was pretty jarring and hard to believe that he would come out of jail that easily. And they found it confusing. Only Jace knew how he did it.

"How the hell did this brat do this? Get out of jail like that? Didn't I tell them to have you locked up in there for a while? Why are you here?" Kai questioned.

Jace looked at him coldly, "I don't need to answer that."

He then looked at Nora who was still in shock and confusion. "Where is my house? Where are they, my family? They were still here the moment I left... Our house was just right here!"

He pointed towards the direction of the house where both of them had just walked out from.

"Who and what are you even talking about? How am I supposed to know about that?" Nora questioned as she folded her hands, "If you're looking for your so-called family, then you should call them and look for them? Why should you bother appearing at my house and making a fuss about them?"

Jace glared at her, "How can you speak as if you don't know what I'm talking about? You literally know that this was the home of me and my family... you even came here from time to time. And you're acting as if you don't know?"

"Am I supposed to care? I don't have any business with them at all. So stop bothering and stalking me," She snapped.

"Hey, you...," Kai stepped in, "I don't know how the hell you broke out of jail but I'm not going to stand here and watch you get on my lady's nerves, " He said as he got out his phone, "You're going to jail for real this time!"

He called the number of the policemen who had previously taken him to jail. And after a while, they picked the line.

"Hey! You slackers! Are you two useless or something? How did I tell you to go and get that bastard behind bars and you all didn't even listen? How can you let him out? What's up with you? Don't you like your business anymore?" He questioned them coldly.

But the answer from the policeman left him confused. "I'm really sorry about that but we really can't interfere with this. We can't help you this time sir! Please understand!" He expressed as he cut the line of Kai.

It was literally something shocking to Kai that they had done something like this to him. And he was speechless as he stared at his phone and then looked up to Jace.

Jace stood there staring at him as if he was waiting for his disappointed expression... but Kai was too embarrassed to show him that... he simply covered up, "Anyways...I don't know how the hell you got out of jail but that doesn't matter. What matters is that you get out of our house this instant!"

"I really don't care about you all or what you all are up to. I only care about my family now. And I am not leaving here unless you tell me where the hell they are!" Jace demanded coldly, his eyes on Nora.

"They can be in hell or at the refugee's, whatever, and that's none of our business!" Nora said, "I don't know where the hell they went to and it's none of our business. We simply saw a free house that was no longer in use, bought it and then made it into our house. And what's wrong with that?"

Ken laughed, "Exactly, it's not like we killed someone like you did. We simply bought and took over land and property. I know poor people like you won't understand the term but you should at least try... so you'll stop annoying people."

Jace stared at them, shocked and annoyed, "And what do you mean by that? What do you mean by "you bought and took the place and made it yours?!"

"Isn't it self-explanatory?" Ken rolled his eyes.

"And where is my family?! Where are they now?!" Jace had snapped angrily.

"Oh gosh, why is he being so loud and annoying?" Ken glared at him, "Doesn't he even know when to give up and get lost... this loser!"

"I don't know where they are and I'm not obliged to do so. So please get lost" Nora said as Kai turned and called the security men.

Two security men came towards them to grab Jace and throw him out of the area as Per Kai's commanded.

They were already dragging him away when Kai stopped them, "Stop. Oh dear, how could I have been so rude to my guest," Kai smirked mockingly as he looked at Jace, "How could I let you go without inviting you..."

Kai then looked at Nora, "Hand me an invitation card."

Nora got out an invitation card for their wedding from her purse and gave it to Kai. Kai took it and walked up to Jace... and he threw it at Jace's hands.

"Here...You too should come and witness our happy wedding soon as well. It's an honour for us to exclusively invite you to our wedding so... be grateful," He smiled mockingly at Jace as he turned and walked off.

"Come on darling, let's go and have fun!" He expressed as he and Nora left.

Ken was laughing at the scene as he too got into his car and zoomed off. While Jace was left there to watch them leave.

Not long too he was dragged out of the place by the security men as well. However, he didn't even bother struggling.
