Chapter 7

"Have you gone deaf or something? I said "answer me right this minute." Ms. Precious thundered at once again.

His facial expression was clouded with so much confusion, trying to figure out what was going on in his head.

But the more that he thought about it, the more confused.

"I sent him away?" He replied like someone with a stutter.

"And which way did he go?" Ms. Precious fired at him once again.

For a while, he could not get himself to say any further words and he didn't register the exact route that he had used in his head.

"I don't remember ma'am." He responded with a sorry look on his face.

"You will be sorry for this when I eventually return." She stormed off from the place swiftly, stamping her foot on the floor.

After a while, she realizes that it would be easier for Richard to recognize Elvis since they meant recently and she was only shown pictures of him from previous years.

Turning around towards the guard, she lashed out at him.

"Get before me bastard and don't make me repeat the words?" She growled.

With his heart right on his palms, Richard made his way swiftly to the front. Walking swiftly to adjust to the pace of his boss.

Hopefully, for him, Elvis was just standing outside waiting for the crowd to die down before getting into the car.

Richard shot glances at him multiple times to ascertain that he was the one. If there was anything that he didn't want, it was to make any further mistakes.

Finally, he acknowledged that Elvis was the one standing at the far end of the road and he turned around towards his boss.

"That's him over there." He announced, sticking his fingers out towards his direction.

Without another word, Mrs. Elvis made a sudden dash towards the direction of the road until he got to her.

Meanwhile, the sound of footsteps advancing swiftly toward him made Elvis pause and turn around to see who it was.

But he noticed that it was someone that he didn't recognize.

Rather, a lady with the perfect shape, body, and grace came stamping toward him. And even though her steps were steep, there was still so much elegance in them.

Her boobs followed the same pattern as she sped towards him.

Finally, she got to where he was, gasping for breath like someone had just finished a race but she didn't pause even for a single moment.

He removed his eyes quickly from her knowing that it was most inappropriate to be staring at a stranger in such a manner.

His cold demeanor returned to his face.

"And you are?" Elvis inquired trying as much as he could.

Precious brought out the invite swiftly, pasting it on his face and she went ahead to say.

"You are young master Elvis?" She inquired trying to hide the fear that flooded her entire being and he nodded his head.

"My father gave me that but that security officer tore it into shreds." Elvis could not hide his dislike, expressing it freely.

"I'm sorry Master Elvis. I was supposed to give you the best receptionist but I gave you one of the worst.

I don't even deserve your punishment. Please punish me." She pleaded with her head bowed.

Even without anyone telling him, from the way that she spoke, Elvis could already tell that she was the Ms. Precious that he was supposed to meet up with.

The security officer continued to stare at the happenings that lay before him, still trying hard to figure things out in his head.

"Young master Elvis?" The words Continued to go round and round in his head multiple times.

He took a glance at the clothes that Elvis was putting on, his shoes, and his face that seemed like someone had just been beaten up, matching these elements with the name that he just heard.

He still could not believe that Elvis could be anyone of social worth.

"Or is he trying to con Ms. Precious and bring down the company? Just like he had done previously?" The thoughts flashed quickly through his mind.

Richard gritted his teeth with so much anger as he made his way towards the both of them.

Ms. Precious's hands were molded with a ball immediately she sensed his presence in the place.

"And what. Are you here?" She thundered with a hateful glare on her face.

"You can listen to a word that he tells you, ma'am. He is a scammer." Richard announced, making Ms. Richard's jaw drop.

She could not express the shock as her feet shivered with fear.

Richard flung a swift frown towards Elvis.

"You fool. Do you think that I was not going to get a hold of what you were trying to do?" He glared.

"Why don't you just..." Before he could get to complete his statement, a slap landed on his face.

His hands were clenched to his already aching face as he turned around towards his boss with bewilderment.

"You fool. Do you realize who you are talking to? Do you realize that I could not only lose my job, I could also get killed at the snap of his fingers and no one is going to know anything about it?" She was by every means furious but her words plugged him into more confusion.

"But how come that he is so powerful?" He thought in his head.

"But how is that even possible?" He could not help but Inquire.

"Because he is the son of the heir, the man we have always been waiting for."

His eyes seemed to bugle out from his eye socket at the sound of the words but he was still finding it difficult to believe.

Elvis could already see the hesitation that was written all over his face like a sudden pull away.

Without another word, he brought out his phone from his pockets from the past photos that he had with his father, in his classic clothes and showed it to Richard.

He paired at the person in the photo and back at the one that was standing right before him

The only difference that they had between the both of them was the style of their dressing.

"Do you believe it now?" Ms. Precious gritted her teeth with fury.

Elvis was taken aback with so much shock unable to express the extent of it.

Without anyone telling him to do it, he fell swiftly to his knees, his face already breaking down into cold sweats.

"I'm sorry Young master. I didn't realize that I was talking to someone really powerful. I would have treated you better." He announced and more sweat shifted down from the corner of his face.

"So you would have gotten away with the way that you had treated me if it had eventually turned out that I was an absolute nobody?" Elvis could not hide the disappointment that was written all over his face.

Richard kept on apologizing to Elvis, not daring to move closer toward him.

"I'm not the one that employs you. I am not the boss yet so I don't have your fate in my hands." Elvis was already feeling uncomfortable with the apology and Richard could sense that

Without anyone telling him what to do, slowly, he turned around toward his boss

"I am sorry Ms. Precious, I promise that it's never going to happen again if you forgive me just the last time." He pleaded but she frowned instead.

"You still have the guts to apologize? After everything that you had done?" She clapped back.

"I'm sorry ma'am. Please find a place in your heart to forgive me." He continued to plead.

Then a thought crossed through Ms. Precious's mind as her face relaxed but only a little bit.

"Maybe you are right after all. It's never going to happen again." She thought aloud.

Even though he was successful in not showing it, he let out a sigh of relief at the fact that he was not going to be awarded any harsh punishment.

"It's not going to happen again because you are fired." The next words seemed to tear him apart right from the inside.

His face was flooded with shock and for a short while, he could hardly hear his heart pumping anymore.

"Ms." He was trying to make out words but his words brought in the form of stutters shattering in the wind.
