Although Drake had been making much effort to marry Racheal. But she kept turning him down, she only used him to kick Adam out of her life, he was only a stepping stone for her plans. After using him to achieve what she wanted she pushed him aside.

"If you say so darling. So have you heard about the Bulgart Industry?" Monica asked, taking a sip from her drink.

"Who hasn't? It's all over the news. Sadly it's beyond our reach."

"What do you mean? Aren't you going to apply for a deal?"

Racheal rubbed her temple softly, "Mother, Bulgart is the biggest industry in the world, what makes you think they'll look at our little company."

"Well, anything is possible." Monica waved her hands.

Just then Racheal's phone rang. It was Mr. Luther.

"Hello Dad."

"Have you heard the news dear?" Mr. Luther's voice was in haste.

"What news?"

"Bulgart Industry just launched in Almond City today, and Mr. White had already bagged a partnership with them as the company's Contract Manager."

"What? You serious Dad?" Racheal's eyes widened.

"Yes I am, if Mr. White is the contract manager, it means the CEO of Bulgart Industry won't be handling the contracts himself, but Mr. White would. You need to go there immediately. I heard there's just three slots."

"I'll be right there." Racheal said and hung up the call.

Monica overheard the conversation, her body was swelling with anticipation. "That's good news Racheal, go and try your luck. I'm sure you'll be lucky."

"Thanks mum. See you later."

Racheal dashed out of the office immediately.

....

Outside the White company there were many people, shouting with the security trying to get inside the company, but it was to no avail. Some of the people present flew from different states and countries just to meet with Mr. White, working with the Bulgart Industry is a dream come true for any firm and company.

Racheal arrived outside the gate with her car, the moment She came out and saw the crowd her jaw dropped. Instantly she lost hope of getting inside, all these people were the heirs and heiress of their family, and most of them owned a much bigger company than the Odias, so if they can't get inside themselves there's no way she would.

"Why are they so crowded?" Racheal stomped her feet on the ground. Seeing there was no way to get in, she decided to go back to her office before a familiar voice called from behind.

"I can get you in if you want." It was Drake, donned in a black tailored suit. He dipped his hands in his pocket and walked towards Racheal.

"Drake, you're here too?" Racheal asked.

"Of course, this is the Bulgart Industry we're talking about. And it's owned by the wealthiest man alive, it's a dream come true for everybody." Drake chuckled lightly.

"That's true, but sadly, there won't be any slots for both of us, the company is already crowded. And I'm sure Mr. White would have gotten people to fill up the slot." Racheal said with disappointment.

"Not really, my family did get a slot." Drake said proudly.

"What? Are you for real?" Racheal asked surprised.

"Yes, you know my family is very reputable, and my dad has been doing business with Mr. White for more than thirty years, they have a good relationship. So immediately my father asked, he didn't hesitate to Grant my dad's request."

"That's so nice." Racheal began to get closer to Drake. "So you're saying you can get me in?"

"Yes, I was sent down here by my father to complete some signatures, so I can use that opportunity to sneak you inside." Drake gestured.

"That's so nice of you."

"But on one condition." He raised his index finger.

"What condition?" "You have to agree to marry me. It's been six months already Racheal, you keep procrastinating our marriage. Don't you love me anymore?" Drake proposed. Racheal shook her head, if only Drake knew she was just manipulating him to get what she wanted, he's nothing but a stepping stone and nothing more. She never had feeling for Drake, he's always seen with multiple women, changing women like clothes, he's definitely not the kind of man she wanted for herself. If Drake wasn't from a wealthy family, no one would look at him twice. "Drake, of course I love you. But I'm not just ready for marriage now." Racheal decided to play her manipulative scheme. Drake wrapped his hands around her waist. "Come on babe, I've already helped you kick that asshole Adam out of your life. No more excuses." Drake smirked. Drake's gesture was bringing some attention to them, Racheal felt embarrassed and she moved a step away from him. "You're right, Drake. But I'm still not ready, sorry."

"Enough with the joke trash. What the hell are you doing here? Who let you in?" Drake asked bitterly. "I just told you, this is my company." Adam gestured. "You?" Drake pointed at his clothes, it was a rag compared to what Drake was wearing. Even if Adam looked good facially, his clothes were still shabby. How dare he brag about being the owner of Bulgart Industry? Drake went hot red, "How dare you make such claims, I will report you to the authorities for false claims. We all know this industry belongs to Mr. Manchester, you'll be sorry when he finds out you're impersonating him, he's a war General you trash!" "Go ahead then, I can't keep explaining this to you. And by the way, what are you two doing here?" Adam asked. Drake laughed, "is that supposed to be a joke? Of course we came to see Mr. White, my family was selected as one of the contractors. And I'm going to help my future wife, Racheal, bag a contract too." He then wrapped his hands around her waist again. Racheal

The crowd outside the gate was restless, their eyes glued to the scene unfolding inside, eager for more drama. "Isn’t that the Odias’ disgrace of a son-in-law?" "Yeah, I heard he went to prison for trying to assault his sister-in-law." "What’s that ex-convict doing here?" "Probably came to cause trouble. Those kinds never change." "Look at him standing there—he thinks he can do anything?" Adam could hear every word, each insult cutting into him like a razor. His fists clenched so tightly that his knuckles cracked. The crowd’s sneers were nothing new, but the shame burned all the same. "Why are you here, Adam?" Racheal hissed, her eyes sharp and unforgiving. "What do you want from us?" Adam’s expression darkened. "I've already told you. this is my company." "You’ve got some nerve showing your face here after everything," Drake sneered, stepping forward. "If you know what’s good for you, you’ll leave before things get ugly." Adam’s gaze flicked to Drake, unbothered by

Mr. White bowed with his head low on Adam's feet. Everyone was frozen, what the hell was going on? Was Mr. White high on whiskey? "What's wrong with you, Mr. White? He's an imposter!" Drake was disgusted by Mr. White's behavior. "Shut up you imbecile!" Mr. White shot a deadly glance at Drake. Racheal was dumbstruck, doesn't Mr. White knows that Adam was their trash son-in-law? How can he bow to him? What's going on? Mr. White remained on the ground with his head low, waiting for Adam's permission to get up. "Mr. White, is this how you treat your guests? By sending your friend's son to insult me in public? To the extent he even attacked me? You know the offense that comes with that don't you?" Adam's face darkened. Mr. White was trembling with fear, the offense for attacking the supreme General is death, he was praying for time to reverse back so he could stop Drake from coming to his company, he's ruined now. With just a fingertip, Mr. Manchester could destroy his entire lineage.

Mr. White was still on the ground, bowing to Adam, he dared not stand up without his permission. "It's just been a day since I made you the contract manager, and you've already given out a slot without my permission. You're not trustworthy Mr. White." "I'm sorry Mr. Manchester, please don't punish me, I will terminate the contract with them." "No need for that, I was going to give them a slot anyways, it's like you read my mind." Adam smirked. "You were?" Mr. White was shocked. "Yes, you can get up now." Adam instructed. Mr. White dusted himself. "So have you forgiven me?" "For now, you're still useful so I'm going to let you live." Mr. White was relieved. "I'm going to destroy the Penthouse, and for the remaining two slots, I'm going to tell you who to give it to." Adam said before leaving, he had other things to take care of before focusing on his revenge. He had to properly bury his mother and let her soul rest in peace. Adam brought out his phone and called Stacey. “Hel

The landlord was frozen in shock, he knew for sure the apartment wasn't worth close to ten million. At best it's $500k. In less than thirty minutes Adam signed some papers as the new owner of the apartment. He instantly called some construction engineers to build a grave inside of the house and renovate the house, securing it with an iron gate and fence. It was supposed to take more than a day, but Adam ordered triple times the number of workers to make everything done before the night falls. After they finished, Adam and his men, along with Stacey, stood around the grave, dressed in black. The night was cold and quiet, just the way Adam wanted—no witnesses, no questions. The candles flickered in the breeze, their small flames dancing against the night sky. Adam stood stiffly at the edge of the grave, his fists clenched at his sides. His black shirt clung to his skin, damp from sweat, though the air was cool. The others stood silently around him, their faces drawn, their eyes

Racheal's statement made everyone think she had gone crazy. “What are you saying Racheal? Have you been drinking too much whiskey? Did you go partying last night?” Monica asked with a serious face. "Adam is a nobody, how can Mr. White bow to him?" Mr. Luther raised a brow. "I'm telling you what I saw with my own two eyes, father." "That bastard, I'm sure he had blackmailed Mr. White, he's an ex-convict anything is possible." Monica scorned. "That's exactly what Drake said." "Oh, poor Drake, is he alright?" Monica said with a soft voice. "Not really, his family was already given the contract, and he went to sign the agreement papers. But after his encounter with Adam, he lost the deal, and Mr. White also hit him in the face." "Oh my God, this trash had come to us with his bad luck again, how did he even escape from prison? What do we do?"Monica said worriedly. "I'll call Philip right away, he will explain what the hell is going on and why Adam isn't rotting in jail!" Mr. Luther
