Chapter Thirty-Seven
"Doctor, please tell me he is going to be fine!" Melanie cried dolefully as she rolled the bed with the nurses, but none of them responded to her.

"Please answer me, will he be fine?" She kept on questioning them and receiving silence as a response.

"Miss, please stay here. He needs to go to the emergency theatre alone." The nurse informed her courteously before joining the others.

Melanie signed, banging on the transparent emergency door in anger. Tears streamed from her eyes down to her cheek.

"Mr. Jamal? Mr. Jamal!" Dennis ran into the scene but the nurses had already gone deeper with Jamal. He sighed heavily, a hand on his waist as he caressed his wrinkled forehead.

"Do you know him?" Melanie broke the awkward silence between them.

"What about you?" Dennis raised a brow.

A few minutes later after exchanging pleasantries, they consoled each other before sitting on the waiting chair.

"Fortunately, I was in the area. I called the ambulance immediately after the accident." She informed
