Chapter 4

In the midst of the silence of the dark night, Sardat walked steadily along the streets on the outskirts of Helma.

The dim street lights illuminated his heavy steps, his mind drifted to a revenge plan that had to be carried out perfectly without having to lead to a blood battle with members of Teraf Lounder, the leader of the Tengkorak Gangster group.

Sardat, who was determined to take over and rid the group of evil, sighed softly. Sitting on the edge of the sidewalk, he muttered softly. "Can I sneak into Teraf's place without being noticed?"

The stars in the sky seemed to witness his dilemma. From his jeans pocket, Sardat took out a gun and stared at it intently, studying every detail. He imagined how he could utilize the weapon from all distances and angles.

A question hung in his mind. "Am I capable enough to use this power, while I'm still an amateur?" Feeling overwhelmed, Sardat took a deep breath, seeking strength in doubt.

Suddenly, the System's voice echoed in Sardat's mind.

[Master, your body's reflex speed has increased drastically. if you are armed, I believe you can defeat anyone.]

Sardat looked up, confusion on his face. "Are you kidding me? I just learned to hold a gun yesterday," he said in a disbelieving tone.

[But you were able to defeat the enemy easily, weren't you?]

System interrupted without paying attention to Sardat's doubts.

Slowly, Sardat realized, what the System said was true—his abilities had now surpassed other people's expectations; From initially being awkward with weapons, he can now defeat Clay, someone who has been involved in combat for a long time.

Sardat took a deep breath, his eyes flashing with curiosity. "So, you think I can defeat the Gangster leader of this city?" he asked, defiantly.

[Sure, sir. Nothing is impossible as long as you have that belief!]

the System said confidently, inspiring new enthusiasm in Sardat's chest.

The man smiled faintly when he heard the System talking to him, according to him the System he got was too confident. However, Sardat let it go, after all, everything he gave was real, not just wishful thinking.

Without realizing it, Sardat, who was chatting with Sistem while walking along the streets of the outskirts of Helma, was already early in the morning.

[Sir, you can now spin, will you do it?]

Suddenly the System Hologram screen appeared showing Spin. It was clear that Sardat was very excited to see the notification.

"Of course, turn now!" Sardat exclaimed excitedly as he stopped walking.

[Okay master, start spinning Spin!]

The hologram screen shows the Spin being rotated very quickly. The Spin spins around for a while before finally stopping.

[Congratulations, you got a Black Card with One million dollars in cash!]

Sardat tightly gripped the black card that had just appeared in his hand. Seconds of silence passed before he realized the sudden reality.

"Is this serious, System?" he whispered into the emptiness of the night, hiding his nervousness.

[Master, all the items I gave you are real.]

Sardat's laughter broke amidst the silence of the early morning which only left the sound of night insects in the distance.

"Hahaha, I'm rich!" he exclaimed with a booming laugh, as if he wanted to share that joy with the entire universe.

There was no one around to hear Sardat's call, except that it was dark and quiet on the outskirts of town far from the crowds. With sparkling eyes, he stared at the Black Card, imagining all the possibilities he could now buy.

The next day, the sun had just risen, illuminating the corners of the Skull Gangster headquarters when rows of corpses were laid out in the yard, creating a gloomy atmosphere around it.

The corpses, Clay and five of his men, all appeared to have died in tragic ways.

Teraf, the leader of the gang, studied him with a calm but sharp gaze. As he crossed his arms over his chest, cold words escaped his lips. "It's great that they were able to finish off Clay."

Dolax, Teraf's right hand man, approached with nervous steps. "Boss, do we need to launch a counterattack?" he asked angrily.

"No," replied Teraf, still in his relaxed tone. "Right now they must be on high alert after successfully killing Clay. We'll wait until they let their guard down." Then, he turned to his subordinates standing at the side and in a voice full of authority, he ordered. "Dispose of their bodies. I don't want the air in this place to be polluted by their stench."

"Ready, Boss!" said one of the subordinates as some of them started dragging the bodies towards the sea.

In solitude, Teraf pondered. he believes the Death Gangster was responsible for Clay's death, and he begins to believe that Sardat is also dead, considering they were on the same mission.

What Teraf didn't know. sardat was in Helma city's shopping center, buying clothes for himself after getting money from the System.

Sardat stood straight in front of the mirror, looking at himself who was now wearing decent clothes.

A satisfied smile spread across his face. "It's cool that I wear clothes like this."

However, his smile soon faded when he noticed the changes in his body, which now became more muscular. His hands immediately touched his face and groped his own body, as if he couldn't believe what was happening.

"Gosh... is this my body serious?" he muttered in surprise, his eyes never leaving the reflection in the mirror.

In the next second, he could only be stunned, trying to convince himself that it was really his body. "No wonder Clay doesn't recognize me, and neither does anyone else," he groaned almost in disbelief. he then sighed. "System, this is your doing, right?" he asked, hoping for an answer.

[Yes sir, you have now transformed, because it is not good for a weapons expert to be skinny.] Replied the System.

Hearing the System's words, Sardat could only curse to himself, ironic because even in this situation the System still had time to tease him.

Sardat took a deep breath again, he tried to calm himself and then left the place, without taking off the clothes he was wearing.

Everyone there looked at Sardat when he came out wearing his new clothes, the man felt stressed because he was the center of attention of the people there.

"Damn, is there something wrong with me, why are they all looking at me like that?"

Sardat grumbled to himself, he didn't realize that his face was very handsome and he had a proportional body, even though he had looked in the mirror, he thought his face was normal, who would have thought that he would be the center of attention.

Sardat tried to remain calm, he ignored the people who were looking at him continuously and walked to the cashier.

"Miss, I'll take the same clothes I'm wearing," the man handed two more clothes to the cashier

"Okay, sir," said the female cashier in a trembling voice, as her hands tried to steady themselves to count the amount of Sardat's purchases.

When Sardat first entered in unkempt clothes, not many eyes fell on him. but now, with her appearance completely changed, she looked so charming.

"Two hundred dollars in all, sir," said the cashier with a friendly but nervous smile.

Sardat just nodded slowly and pulled out a Black Card from his wallet, an exclusive card he obtained from the System.

When the cashier saw the Black Card in Sardat's hand, his eyes widened and his hands trembled again, mesmerized not only by the presence of the card but also by Sardat's hard-to-ignore handsomeness.

"S-Sir, do you have no small amount of money?" the cashier asked politely, his voice reflecting deep anxiety.

"Sorry, Miss. This is the only one I have. Can't I use this card?" asked Sardat, his voice sounding a little panicked, because he didn't have any cash after giving all his loot to the homeless last night.
