In Daryl's apartment, the radio in the living room was playing “It Wasn't Me” by Shaggy, but Diane turned it off with anxiety and nervousness.

Maggie and Bernardo enter and meet her, Daryl, and Kelvin.

“We arrived!”

“Sit down, people.” Daryl invites them in and sits in the armchair, “Let's get started. As I said yesterday over the phone, unfortunately, we’ll have to adopt that drastic alternative.”

“Cancel the plan and get rid of Gabriela?” Maggie sits up, worried, “Daryl, she'll never accept this.”

“I talked to my wife.” Bernardo adds, “It’s very likely that Gabriela will be furious with us and vent everything to Josias.”

Daryl responds calmly, “If she says everything we've done, besides her never marrying Josias again, he won't accept the child even though it's his. Gabriela would have done it if she wasn't pregnant, but now she has the baby's future to think about.”
