The death of the demon (2)

The tensed body of Nero moved with an explosive speed that was beyond his little body. He did what nobody expected at all !.

He jumped !.

Excerting force on his feet , the figure of Nero jumped up with all his strength into the air. The close combat techniques that he learned in his previous life immediately came to play in his mind .

While in the air , his left hand quickly went to the short sword strapped to his waist and he drew the sword out with immense speed.

The claws of the demon which had missed it's target shattered the reception desk, making it to break into two while leaving long claw marks on it.

The figure of Nero rotated slightly in the air as his left hand pierced through the eye of the demon with extreme force.

The sword shone with sharp light as it made it way towards the unguarded eye of the demon.

Before the demon could react to the unexpected attack , the short sword had already pierced through the eyeball .

Poof !! blood splashed in the air as the sword sank deeper into the eye of the demon.

"Watch out for the tail !!". Vera suddenly yelled out and Nero who was still in his attacking motion could not dodge in time and the tail smashed into his body and he flew across the room like a broken kite.

Bang !! Nero smashed into the ground with immense force , stirring up dust.

"Uhhh !!". Nero groaned painfully while lying down on the ground.

His shirt was torn and blood was seeping out from three cuts on his stomach. The cuts were not too deep but it was long almost stretching towards his back.

The tail of the demon was extremely sharp and if not that the demon was already injured by Nero in the eyes , the tail would have done more severe damage.

Roar !! the demon roared out painfully while holding the sword that was plugged into it's eye.

Bang !! bang !! bang !! the tail of the demon kept smashing everywhere as it continued to roar out in immense pain.

"Nero , are you okay ?". Ted rushed towards the fallen Nero and looked at the puddle of blood on the ground with worry on his face.

"I'm okay ". Nero gritted his teeth and tried to stand up while covering his stomach.

"Ahhh !!". Nero groaned painfully again as his entire body ached with pain.

Blood was seeping out through his fingers that covered his stomach.

His body temperature was extremely high and the wounds on his stomach was sending waves of pain through his body.

"Take it easy ". Ted hurriedly held Nero and comforted him.

The figure of Vera watched the demon that was destroying things in the room with a sharp gaze.

Her hand gripped the sword tightly as she slowly made her towards the demon.

Her steps were light as she seems to be walking on the air.

She watched the tail smash many things to pieces and then she paused when she reached close to the rampaging demon.

If she tried to attack the demon whose back was facing her , she would likely encounter the attack of the tail that was swinging around without any care in the world .

"Vera ". The Weak voice of Nero called out and Vera immediately turned.

"Use the chair ". Nero gestured towards an intact chair that was standing beside her and the eyes of Vera immediately shone with happiness.

Positioning herself , Vera suddenly kicked the chair towards the left side of the demon and the tail of the demon immediately swung into action , chasing after the chair that fell to the side.

Bang !! the tail smashed the chair into two but at this moment , the figure of Vera have already moved from her location with immense speed.

Gripping the sword tightly , Vera tapped lightly on the ground and jumped up .

Her expression solemn and her eyes centered towards the neck region of the demon , she held the sword with both hands and drove it towards the neck of the demon.

Poof !! the sharp long sword easily pierced through the neck of the demon and black blood splashed across the air.

Whoosh !! Vera hurriedly let go of the sword and fell to the ground and the tail pierced through the empty air.

Vera rolled on the ground quickly before she got up and ran back to a safe position.

Roarrrrrr !!! blood continued to gush out from the neck and eyes of the demon as it's huge figure swayed unsteadily , threatening to fall any moment.

Roarrrrrr !! the roars of the demon was getting weaker and weaker as it's tail gradually became calm .

Bang !! the figure of demon knelt down on the ground slowly before it smashed to the ground with immense force making the restaurant to vibrate intensely.

Roar !! the demon roared out weakly as it's body started to jerk continuously. It was gasping for air as it tried to breathe but the sword in his neck was a fatal wound that caught off air from entering it's lungs.

"Accept your fate demon ". Vera said slowly as she gestured towards Ted to throw his axe.

Whoosh!! Vera caught the axe with one hand and she shook her head slightly , making the striking red hair to scatter across her shoulders.

She was breathing heavily as she approached the demon slowly.

"He who kills with the sword will one day die by the sword ". Vera said calmly as the movement of the demon gradually stopped.

After ten minutes , Vera raised the axe in her hand and attacked.

Poof !! poof !! blood continued to splash in the air as Vera swung the axe in her hand continuously.

"Ahhhhhhhhh !!!". Vera grabbed the decapitated head of the demon and raised it up into the air with a fierce gaze on her face.

Her cloth was stained with the blood of the demon but she did not mind at all !.

"From this moment guys , we are demon Slayers !!". A bright smile appeared on her face as she looked at Nero and Ted.

"Demon slayer ". Nero muttered slowly as he smiled back in return.

"I like that name ".
