Don's fate turns into revenge

CHAPTER SIX

“Well ... .Well…Well, looks like I am the one that will be getting married to Roselyn pretty soon.”Mark said with a congerous tone in his tongue.

‘I am the only one going through with this competition because this man is a coward, he has no balls to pull all this off.’ Don approached Mark, he faked a punch instead he fixed the collar of Mark like a  then whispered to his ears.

‘Look at the person that wants to compete with me….he can't even take over his father's company and he wants to crack a multimillionaire deal.’ Don said indirectly mocking Mark.

Grandma Nona intentionally made this competition to make Don feel bad and quit it so Mark can win and get married to Roselyn and live a rich and comfortable life.

She went on saying The  Herbal Rise company works for Four Major Families and they have to take their time convincing them to have a contract with their company and crack the deal.

She smirked then went on asking if the men were ready for their quests and the first to bring back home the victory will be the new groom of beautiful Roselyn.

The grandma also went on saying, “nobody is allowed to use the family company name to whom it is the case but to use their business and ideas to make sure one of them gets the reward.

That was what made Don ask worried because he had to bring up a way to use his business for the contract. He had an idea and decided to instruct his secretary to find out all she knew about the family and to tell him when she was done.

Roselyn was looking for chances to talk to Don but looks like he didn't want to say anything to her and he kept on avoiding her. He got a message from her to meet him outside and he didn't reply but he decided to go.

“You don't have to do this if you don't want to , I can tell grandma to cancel the deal and tell them I am not leaving you no matter what.”Roselyn said, making some unusual steps towards Don, but he stepped off and said. “I am going to win and I will make sure I save our marriage.” He left to start his journey.

When Don was at home sorting out some files and sipping an Herbal homemade tea, he got a call from his secretary which doesn't not like it was a good news.

“Yes daniella…..speak up i am listening.”he said with a fury facial expression in his face.

Well …….Well …sir, she was so drowned into her own fear. But Don was getting furious and impatient.

“Talk or you are fired! Don yelled at her, diverting the anger inside him to her. Then she later found courage to tell him the truth and decided to go for it.

She told him that the four major families were the one partially responsible for the death of his parents because they robbed his family of their wealth. After listening to all that she said to him, He became so depressed and decided that he needed to be alone.

He went to his shelf and took the cigarette which was there and decided to smoke his pain away. He smoked  something to be able to clear his mind and give him a solution on how to execute his plan.

He took a bottle of vodka and was drinking it while having flashback of how his dad lost his business within a twinkle of an eye and how his dad had to beg to get beg for mercy.

He took the bottle and broke it on the floor and took a piece of the bottle and slit his hand, which made blood flow and he used his blood to write revenge on his mirror and picked his phone to call the secretary.

“I want a report on my parents death file and how each of the families are responsible for their death within two days.” He switched the phone after the call and stared at the mirror until he fell asleep.

In the next morning, Don wore his vest and trousers and took his briefcase and he was on his way to the office of the Herbal Rise company. He got into his small car and drove off while in the car was having flashbacks of his parents death and what caused their death.

He decided to call his secretary on the confirmation of the meeting he was having with the CEO, “Good morning sir, I have arranged your meeting with the CEO and he will be waiting for you and besides he is nothing before you.” He smirked and cut the call and drove faster.

He drove into the company building and got down and took his briefcase with him. He arrived at the reception section then saw Mark with his uncle who also had an appointment with the CEO. Mark's uncle met the CEO at a party gathering so they are well known friends.

Well…Don it is not too late to give up, I already have every tools to make me win the completion easily. Mark said making his way to the reception counter.

He took off his glasses which left a smile on the face of the receptionist as she was so impressed with the look of Mark and asked him what she could do for him.

Then he told her to give him directions to the CEO office, she sent a messenger to take Mark to the office of their boss.

Don went to talk to the receptionist also, but looks like she is disgusted by the look of Don. “Who are you, and who allowed you into this building, you look so poor to be in this place.” She mocking the appearance of Don.

Which made Don angry and told her to mind her tongue or she will regret it and be paying the price with her job.

She didn't believe a word which he said so she sent him out of her sight.
