Chapter 6

Immediately he spat out the words from his mouth, Evelyn and Henry burst out into laughter trying not to believe what they just heard him saying.

"You have an invitation card?" They laughed harder, thinking that there was no way that he could be able to get that because it costs more than a fortune.

He brought out his invitation card from his pocket and pushed it towards his face.

At first their face Brightened but even with the evidence right before them, they refused to believe that he could have such a valuable material in his hands.

"Do you really think that we are going to fall for that?" Evelyn shot.

"Even without looking at it, I can tell already that it's totally fake." She hissed.

Henry brought out his card from his pocket and Joshua's which was the master's card was way different from his.

"You are such are terrible forger aren't you." He laughed out loud.

"Do not know how long it took me to get one and do you even realize how expensive it was? All to see the heir being revealed tonight?" He rocked harder with so much laughter clutching hard to his aching stomach.

His face deepened into a deep frown immediately after he heard the words.

"Well, let's see about that." He walked gradually towards the postcard at the front post of the door just ahead of him.

He brought out a card from his pocket and revealed it to to his face. It was the exact card that Helena had given to him and even though he didn't need it, it was going to be helpful since most of the workers didn't know him well.

'It just can't be real. He must have stolen it.' The thoughts flooded her mind as his brows quivered.

There was certainly no way that a low life like him would have anything related to these powerful people

He wasn't even worthy enough to clean the dust off from their shoes.

"I think you have lost haven't you?" Joshua sneered at them with so much hate and disgust in his gut it didn't seem as though Henry was done with him yet.

After staring at the card that he was holding up for a while, a crack formed on his lips as he raised it and examined it closely.

"How much of a Fool do you think that we are?" He stared at Joshua pointing the card that he was holding in his hands towards him.

"Take a good look at this Mr. Does this card look the same." He replied.

The difference between both cards that as obvious but it was only because it was owned by the master of the ceremony.

"You can't know it's forged if it does what it is supposed to do right?" His hands were going clutched with so much anger.

Joshua walked towards the guard and pointed it on his face and the guard frowned at him almost immediately.

"And what do you think that you are doing?" He frowned harder.

"I think that you are making a mistake here." He replied to him.

But Joshua was a little bit confused. Victoria had already told him that he was going to send the tutorial around.

'Could it be that this servant didn't see it?' He thought again.

Well, there was no need for him to hold him responsible in that case. A simple call was going to settle all of it.

"If there is only one mistake that is happening here, the mistake is you." The guard sneered at him to his surprise.

Evelyn and Henry walked towards the guard. Immediately he saw the way that they were dressed and their expensive perfume, the initial anger on his face flushed away and his lips parted into a smile.

"Good day sirs and ma'am. Here for the party?" He inquired

"I already know that it's evident that you guys have a card already unlike some fools that are just looking for a way to walk into the place and beg for prominent people for food." He heard the guard saying.

"Yeah, sure." He brought out his card from his pocket and pointed it towards the card.

He took the card away from them and surveyed every single detail of it. "Just in perfect shape."

"But I came here before them. Aren't you going to attend to him?" He Inquired.

His eye caught a glimpse of him from the his head to the sole of his feet and the frown that was hanging on his face deepened even more than it was already.

"Just take a good look at yourself, can you even afford to work as a servant in this place? And to think that you even dare to bring a forged card into this place and still have the guts to be standing here?" His anger increased even more than it was already.

"You don't have to be angry at him. We know his kind and this is how they always behave."

"You know him?" There was a trace of surprise in the eyes of the security officer who was standing before them.

"Yes but as a servant that he has always been."

Joshua stood there for a while, the anger gradually creeping down his spine with his hands clutched to control his rising anger.

He brought out his cell phone from his pocket and dialed Helena's number.

Seeing what he was doing, the three of them that were standing there Burst out into laughter clutching hard to their stomach.

"And what do you think that you are doing now? Want to call the security officer to beat us up?" Evelyn Noted.

His fingers met with a sudden pause and he decided that he was going to send her a message instead.

He expected her to take a few minutes before getting to the place but to his surprise, her car sped off towards them with so much speed.

The handle of the car parted open and Helena stormed off from the car with a sudden burst of energy, her light make up almost ruined by the sweat on her face.

There was panic in her eyes as she raced swiftly toward them

While she walked swiftly towards them, Henry could not but turn his head towards the sweat fragrance that hit his nostrils.

He was lost in the stare of the young and elegant lady who stood before him, radiating before him.

From her delicate skin to her shiny her, it was the most beautiful thing that he had seen in a long time and he wished that he could make her his.

To his surprise, the strange lady Walked gradually towards him, making him shift his tie and straighten up his posture.

"Hi, beauty." He was about to say but she brushed past him and walked towards Joshua.

From the message that she had gotten from him, he didn't want her to spill anything about her just yet.

"Are you okay sir?" Even though she did not reveal his identity, there was every single trace of respect in his voice and it sounded almost in a whisper that only Joshua could hear.

"I'm fine, except for this fool of course." He replied turning over to the guard.

"He would not let me go in because I am just way too broke."

She shivered almost immediately but tried as much as she could to keep her posture knowing that she was going to get into a lot of trouble if Sir. Maxwell found out anything about what just happened.

Even though the circular was passed late, she expected it to have gotten to everyone. And it was obvious that for some reason, the guard did not even care to examine the card properly or he would have seen the logo that was printed on it.

"What's going on here?" Her eyes turned around towards the security officer.

The eyes of the stranger shivered almost immediately and cold sweat broke out from the corner of his eyes.

"It's this bagger here but I am going to get him out of this place as soon as possible." He responded, trying to get over to him and push him out of the place but before he could get to make another move, a solid slap landed on his face.

"You fool, what do you think that you are trying to do?" She sneered at him while he clutched to his aching face, staring right into his eyes confused and not knowing what to do.
