Chapter 17 Dragon's Roar

"Did you just translate the Abyssal Abaddon Commander's words, Spirit System?" Manasi said.

'Yes! Contractor.' Spirit System

Manasi observed the Abyssal Commander's warlord-like presence is quite threatening.

"Spirit System, use [Guide]," Manasi said gravely as his eyes turned gray.

Then continue to look at the Abyssal Commander, who was looking at them with contempt.

"Human, that's an interesting power ... But am I more interested in how you got here? " The Nether Commander said, as his body began to turn red and black flames surrounded him.

Manasi did not respond, as he is waiting for an opportunity to strike. The Abyssal Abaddon, on the other hand, has a thoughtful expression. His expression started to harden as he looked at Manasi.

"Tell me, human, did the prophets send you?"

Manasi has no idea what the Abyss Commander is talking about. In Manasi's hand, an appeared as he quickly drew it.

Bang! Bang! Five explosive shells are fired.

Commander Abyssal raised his axe.

'Boom! Boom!' The sounds of mini-explosions are heard.

Slowly the dust settled. What greeted Manasi was the Abyssal Commander's smirk, as if he was laughing at him. Manasi's surprise attack didn't even leave a scratch on the Abyssal Commander Axe.

'Tsk!'

Manasi clicked his tongue.

'Contractor, it is impossible to damage him with a low-grade pistol!' Spirit system

"I need to think of something!" Manasi gritted his teeth as he already expected this. He knew that facing the Abyssal Commander was dangerous, so he had to escape.

Suddenly he glimpsed a shadow.

'Whistle!'

It was Blossom covered in an aura of chill. A thick layer of ice appeared on the hot sand dunes.

Blossom appeared before the Abyssal Commander as she swung her axe horizontally over the Abyssal Commander's head. She intends to cut his head in the middle.

The Abyssal Commanders' expression was shocked as he awkwardly raised his axe in an attempt to block.

'Bang!'

Their axes' blades connect as they produce sparks. The impact shook the Abyssal Commander's knee. Blossom swung her left leg over the Abyssal Commander's left side.

'Arg!'

The Abyssal Commander cried out in pain as his ribs broke as he was thrown.

"Bam!"

His back landed on the sand dunes, producing dust everywhere. Manasi's mouth gapped open at the entire scene. He suddenly raised his hand as he screamed.

"Yes, Blossom, knock that ugly smug off his face!" With Blossom's strike, Manasi's hope is ignited.

"Do not rejoice yet, human." So said the Abyssal Commander, while he pointed his axe at Blossom.

"You should be Hadems's daughter, haha, to think that he found a way to save you ... hmm?" As the Abyssal Commander spoke, his face suddenly twitched.

"You both have the aura of the star-devouring- crystal. Give it to me!" Abyssal Abaddon howled as his body began to increase in size.

Manasi's face became nervous as he did not expect to be found out. He didn't hesitate any longer and brought out the [RF-99 Buster Rifle] from the storage space.

"This is my first time using this baby," Manasi said while touching the rifle's surface.

"Spirit System helps me with my aim," Manasi said, as he is not very good at shooting, but with the [Guide] system he can position himself as a professional marksman.

He then fired a series of bullets at the Abyssal Commander.

Snap! Snap! Snap! Bullets after bullets keep flying. Commander Abyssal Abaddon uses the side of his axe as a shield. As he keeps his attention on Blossom in case she attacks him from behind.

"It's useless, human, even if you team up!" The Abyss Commander yelled.

Even though he looks pathetic with his injuries, Manasi continues to shoot the axe of the abyssal commanders, chipping the axe blade.

"Blossom your turn!" Manasi shouted as he reloaded the [RF-99 Buster Rifle].

'Hyah!' Blossom shouted as she engaged the Abyss Commander in combat.

"Spirit System, use the system energy to provide me with information about this Abyssal Abaddons Commander," Manasi said while he sniped the Abyssal Commander.

Before Manasi, all information about the Abyssal Abaddon Commander came to light.

Even though Manasi was speechless by how strong this Abyssal Commander was, he couldn't give up just yet, as there was no other way out of his situation than to fight.

"That's a lot of data, Spirit System. This Abyssal commander is very strong. He didn't even use some of his abilities or his trump cards.

[Store Soul]  should be able to heal him to his peak if he uses it. Since he's not using his abilities, he's probably waiting for something.

Now I understand that Blossom would not be his match. " Manasi now worriedly knows that they are in danger, that Abyssal Commander is only playing with them.

"Spirit System closely monitors the map if there is anything unusual," Manasi said.

Manasi continues to snipe at the Abyssal Commander in the hope of killing him.

Blossom continues to attack the Abyssal Commander, using ice spells to corner him, but whenever that happens, he can still escape, looking exhausted.

"If I hadn't seen these bastard monster data, I too would have been fooled by his acting. No wonder whenever the Blossom got him cornered, he could still escape. Even his emotions are "calm," Manasi said.

"I should give this guy an Oscar award... but still, I'm starting to worry about Blossoms' safety, even though she's protected by the S-rank gate," Manasi said while gritting his teeth, as he felt helpless.

Manasi paused for a moment.

"By the way, Spirit System, how do we find out the real name of this monster?" Manasi said.

'Contractor, finding out the real name of this monster requires 90 points of system energy. Knowing its true name means death for the word Abyssal Commander.' Spirit System

"I see"

"Spirit System, why does it require 90 points?" Manasi said while raising his brows.

'Contractor, because he is a rank B-superior-tier Abyssal Abaddon, the higher their level, the more energy I required to find their weakness.' Spirit System

Manasi now finally understands. Suddenly, an unexpected situation arose, as something came out of the underground city and came out from the bright gate shield.

Its movement left an afterimage, as it darted like lightning towards the Abyssal Commander.

The Abyssal Commander, who seemed quite pathetic, sensed something. His aura suddenly changed and his injured body was also fully restored to its peak as he suddenly struck Blossom's axe.

'Bang!'

It caused Blossom to be knocked near the Mothership. She heavily landed on the sand, creating a pit.

"Blossom!" Manasi shouted as he ran towards her.

He jumped into the pit that she created as a result of the impact, kneeling near the flowers to help her up.

"Are you okay, little Blossom?" Manasi said this as he brushed some sand off her white dress. She stood up slowly.

"Abba, I'm fine," Blossom said, hugging Manasi. She loved her father.

"Sorry Abba, I can't beat that monster." Blossom sobs, clutching the hem of her white dress.

She hangs her head. Manasi couldn't help but pinch her cheeks. while rubbing her furry ears. He wanted to have a daughter like her. Deep down, he had already accepted her as his daughter.

"It's okay, Blossom, abba will teach that monster a lesson for hurting my cute daughter. "Manasi sweetly said.

"Hehe!" Blossom shyly hugs her father.

Manasi held Blossom's palm as they hid in the rear of the mother ship. At the front of the mothership, there was still a battle going on. He couldn't go that way.

Manasi then turned his head in the direction of the Abyssal Commander. He wanted to know who the new challenger was. However, to his surprise, it is the Contract Beast of Hadem Sage.

The Contract Beast Of Hadem Sage still looks the same, but its body is completely red all over. Its fur seems to be made of flames. Manasi could hear the Abyssal Commander speaking,

"You are the contract beast of the most intelligent sage known in history. We expected the last underground city to be guarded by you.

I'm curious how Hadem Sage succeeded in fusing the star-eating crystal inside of you and his daughter. Too bad you can't answer my question, homunculus, "said Abyssal Commander, glancing at Blossom while grinning with his lion's mouth.

"Someday I'll wipe out that smug face of yours!" Manasi silently said while gritting his teeth.

'Bang!'

Hadem's Contract Beast launched an attack on the Abyssal Commander. As their fists connected, it created huge shockwaves.

The Abyssal Commander's face changed as he felt his strength being drained. The Abyssal Commander raised an eyebrow. He then sidestepped while taking out a crimson gem.

"Do you know what this gem is? This is a slave stone. " So says the commander, Abyssal Abaddon, with a hideous expression.

When he said that. A roar could be heard from atop the mothership. It almost made Manasi's ears bleed.

"ROAR!" It sounds like thunder as it continues to echo through the air.
