Ethan was dazed for a few seconds before he finally gained back his cool, after a few more seconds he walked through the door, the door, portal and Ethan disappeared immediately.

Ethan appeared in a new, strange place.

It was like in the interior of ancient caves, it has poor lightning and there was a constant noise that sounded each seconds.

Just then the system windows appeared.

[You entered a FF Grade Dungoen]

[As your first adventure, the system has given you an opportunity to choose an upgradable weapon from the following, also you can purchase a few more equipments from the system shop]

Ethan stared at the above listed weapons, then he clicked on the upgradable dagger and then clicked accept.

Small wisp of lights appeared in front of him and then took the form of a dagger with curve blades.

Ethan stretched his hand and held the dagger, immediately a window appeared describing the dagger.

[Dagger (Level 1/10): A dagger forged from the scale of Level Ten Dancing lizard, grants 10% increase in overall attack at current level]

Ethan sighed, his heartbeat increased knowing that he was in a place where he might get killed if care isn't taken.

[Note: A dungeon is cleared after taking down the boss, if there isn't a boss it can only be cleared by taking down all the monsters inside]

After reading the last prompt his mind did not calm down anymore as he kept thinking of what was to come.

Just then, some crystals in the wall began to glow providing a good amount of lighting in the cave.

[Dungeon dwellers have discovered your presence!!!]

This system prompt was way different from the others, it was written in red and it kept blinking. Giving his feeble heart the feel that something is wrong.

Just then the sound of something moving really fast reached his ear, when he turned his head toward the direction of the threat he sported seven strange looking monster with a system tag on their head.

They had the appearance of lizards but they were able to walk on twos like human being, they also have sharp claws and they were also as tall as a 14 year old.

Their eyes glowed red as they spotted Ethan.

Seven of them shrieked in a scary manner and rushed toward Ethan, they weren't that fast but giving their numbers it would be quite difficult to kill them.

Ethan took a deep breath and gripped the dagger.

'I can't stop my journey to greatness because of fear!' He screamed in his heart as he ran toward the closest Black Reptile.

He stretched his hands and sent the blade of his dagger flying toward the head of the monster.

Nevertheless before he could succeed the other monsters shrieked behind him and attacked him with their claws.

He took a look at his dress and spotted the white turning red as blood spilled out of his injury.

'I got injured so quickly?' He panicked.

These monsters are just level 1 yet he could not kill them easily.

'No, if I die here, it would practically be the same outside! I won't die.' His resolution hardened then he used the dagger in his hand to pierce the eyes of one of the monster.

That number flashed on the body of the monster the moment his dagger pieced it's eyes.

'It has ten HP, if I can take it to zero it would die.'

He used his leg to kick that black Reptile away and immediately bent his head to the west to dodge the claw of one of the black Reptile.

He switched the hands holding the dagger and threw a punch at the head of the reptile who was midair.

While midair it was impossible for the black reptile to escape his attack.

Black retailed slayed! Remaining (1/7)

A System notification appeared and immediately that black reptile corpse turned to black smoke and disappeared from the dungeon and a small object appeared and fell to the ground but he was too preoccupied to notice as he faced another one.

He used his dagger to aim for the neck of one of the monsters and at the same time he threw a kick at another one.

The heroic martial arts skill was in his head, he wasn't aware of this because he hasn't settle down to learn the technique and work toward increasing it's level.

Back then when he fought those body builders sent after him by Lugard, it was the Heroic martial arts that made it possible to beat them easily.

Currently his perception stat was 10, a normal human has only 8 of perception which means he 25% better than any ordinary human in perception which explained why he was able to anticipate their attacks and counter attacked.

Boom~

The body of the the fifth black reptile clashed with the wall.

Ethan breath was ragged after killing the fifth one, now he only has two of them remaining for him to slay and complete the first wave of foes.

'I can't waste any time here!' he yelled in his heart and dashed toward the last two black reptile that kept walking in circle around him.

He tossed his dagger toward the one behind him and then used his Heroic martial arts moves on the last one.

A notification appeared after he killed the last one.

He used the back of his hands to wipe the perspiration from his face and let out a loud breath.

He noticed some glowing objects on the ground, all of them were in the spots where the Level 1 black reptiles were killed.

He walked to the closest one and spotted a small gemstone.

He squatted to pick it up.

[FF-Rank Magic stone worth $100, it can be exchanged for money or stored for usage in the future.]

'It can be sold?' His eyes was wide opened as he red the description of the small crystal in his hand.

[Magic stones are the solidified magic power of monster with FF being the lowest and SSS being the highest quality, it can be used to increase magic power (MP) or exchanged for money]

Ethan decided to sell the first magic stone, he brought out his phone to check his account balance however there was no internet signal in here.

'Just as I thought, I'm not on earth'

He picked the rest of the magic stones, altogether he got five.

Most of the reptiles dropped nothing leaving him with two short of the total number of black reptile he killed.

"I made $500 from the first challenge in the dungeon, this is my monthly salary!" The joy in his eyes as he saw the magic stones converting to real world cash made him ecstatic.

With a renewed determination, he grabbed his dagger and started walking toward a different path.

In the place he spawned at, there was three entrance to other part of the cave like dungeon.

The black reptile came out of one, so he decided to take another.
