Because Alexander had packed all his clothes before attending the wedding the day before, there was nothing for him to arrange when he woke up.

He had gotten back the clothes he gave the hotel’s laundry department for dry cleaning after returning from the wedding then he arranged them in his suitcase in preparation for today.

Lastly, he had taken care of every loose end he had left after returning from the wedding. From contacting Laura on behalf of Gift and setting up a meeting with designer Gustav who was visiting the shop sometime in the week, to sending the money to Victoria for the orphanage.

Once at the door with his suitcase and duffle bag of money, wearing the clothes he had set aside for his departure, Alexander took one last look at his room and smiled.

“Thanks for being my home for the past few days,” he said then opened the door.

To his surprise, he saw Grace standing in front of his room, and looked like she was just about to knock on his door.

“Grace?” Alexander said.
