Jack’s class had just ended when he left; he was walking through the corridor. He could hear the students hissing and sighing as he made his way. If there is one thing that left the students in a state of confusion, it was the fact that since Jack returned to Crestview, he had shown no sign of weakness but determination to succeed. He could be seen most of the time running to class. His actions most of the time, didn’t baffle the students only but the Vice chancellor who wondered about him. Jack didn’t bother going to his dorm after coming out of the library. As he walked out of the school gate, he took a cab and headed towards a restaurant downtown. When they arrived there. He noticed some guards parked by the side waiting patiently for him.He glanced around before entering the car, which was parted open by the guard whose head was tilted slightly. He closed the door, as they entered into their car heading towards the estate.They arrived at the entrance of the estate, Jack’s heart was pounding fast in his chest, with several thoughts that had engrossed his mind.He alighted from the car, as he made his way into the mansion. The mansion was quiet in an early morning light, Jack stirred in the plush bed. The events of the previous night were still fresh in his mind. He didn’t plan to sleep at the mansion, but because he couldn’t return, he decided to sleep over. He rose from the bed, dressed and was ready to face the activity of the day, he was determined to keep his identity a secret. Breakfast was served promptly in the dining hall; awaiting him was a freshly baked croissant, fruit platters, and an assortment of delicacies. Jordan Norman felt relief seeing the chief security officer of the estate coming towards them. His face was etched with confidence.“I ask again, What is going on here?” Why were you pressing him? Do you know who he is and who are you? What are you doing in this estate?’ He questioned with a thunderous expression that engulfed him.Philip inhaled softly and was about to utter a word when Jordan stepped in, “He is a nuisance; I saw him sneak out of this mansion,” he said, pointing at the house behind. “I tried to confront him to know what he is doing here because I know him; he is an errand boy at Crestview. But instead of giving an honest answer, he threatened to deal with me. He even wanted to kill me, I believe he is here to steal if not why would he be sneaking out.” The chief security turned with a frowned face, his gaze fixed on Jack; he glanced at him from head to toe. Chapter 26 “What is it, Master?” Kelvin said with his voice barely above a whisper. “Some people are accusing me of sneaking out of my mansion. I would like you to step out. There are other things you would do for me.” He stated. Kelvin Wang furrowed his face, he was shocked to know his master was still around the estate when he thought he had gone to school. He wondered who would have dared to accuse his master. “I will be down in a jiffy,” he uttered politely before the call line got dead. The blaring of the siren was heard from a mile away. The police car came to a halt, with two uniformed men stepping out. “Are you done making a fake call? Because we know you don’t know anyone?” Jordan Norman said. “Let’s watch and see how things play out at the end,” Jack muttered. “Officers thank goodness you arrived on time.” The guard said. “What is going on here?” one of the officers asked.
