Vanessa's words echoed in Bianca's mind, "Engagement isn't marriage. Life's too short not to be happy."

Vanessa, always dressed in luxurious fashion as both a model and designer of high-end accessories, was a friend who admired all of Bianca's assets and saw her life as an inspiration for those who desired more wealth. She constantly reminded Bianca that Harry was a goldmine and must be kept at all costs.

After the lavish party, Bianca and Vanessa found themselves alone in Bianca's apartment. The sparkling city lights outside brought a sense of peace, but inside Bianca, there was an unspoken unease.

"Vanessa, I don't know what to do," Bianca admitted. "I love Lucas, but I can't just leave everything Harry has given me."

Vanessa's eyes gleamed with cunning. "You don't have to choose, Bianca. You can have both."

Bianca furrowed her brow. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, keep seeing Lucas. Keep that relationship a secret. If things with Harry don't improve, you'll have Lucas to lean on."
