Matt let out a shaky breath as he was torn between whether to pick up the call or not. What could be the reason for this call? While Matt was still on his way to the police station, Cara and Susan were finally able to reach Nick through a phone call. And on hearing of the tragic news, Nick quickly arrived at the police station within minutes. His eyes filled with tears at the news of his father's death. And just like his mother and sister, he too was interrogated. He answered every single question directed at him in the most truthful and honest ways, after all, he wanted to make sure whoever killed his father would be discovered and arrested. The policemen listened to all Nick said but unlike Susan, Nick said he had left three people home this morning, which were his parents and Matt. And the policemen wondered why the family weren't even suspicious of this Matt guy, wasn't it obvious to them? It was already noon time when the Broda family went back home to quietly mourn the loss of the father and husband. However, Matt refused to return to their home with them even when they insisted. By noon time, Liam was already occupied with work. Not that he had expected less but this was way too overwhelming for someone who was new to this. He wasn't complaining though. Matt couldn't help but curse his luck. The man whom he had bumped into earlier stood there with his hands akimbo as if waiting for someone. And Matt hates to admit that that someone might be him. Matt would have just chosen to walk out quietly. However, the man was currently standing on the only route that would lead Matt out of this place.
