Because he had fused with his rectangular Baton Artifact, all his senses had been more heightened than they used to be which was already a great amount in base form, seeing how he is an Emerged who got his awakening through a different process that was way greater than how the Arc Agents got theirs.
His base was above what the Arc Agents got after the incident that boosted their abilities to what they currently are on now, well the others except for Daniel who had even gone an extra step higher.
