146 : The Bigger Threat

Victor brooded in his office, looking out at the city night's view from the glass walls of his spacious and luxurious office.

He thought about Dylan and the little spat that was going on, making their relationship cold and never like this before.

Victor understood that everything Dylan had told him was because Dylan was still feeling chaotic and emotionally unstable after Rihana's sudden and unforeseen death. Victor also didn't understand why James Barney, who was originally very calm as if he didn't care about Rihana's life, became very aggressive and killed his own daughter.

But after learning who orchestrated all of this, Victor could do nothing else but strengthen his resolve to take revenge immediately.

"Interfering with my life wasn't enough for him, and now he's interfering with my friend's life... really sneaky," Victor said, sharply staring out the glass wall and not realizing that Xiel was already behind his chair.
