Chapter 54: Woken up

Diana was taken aback as she held the damp cloth in her hand, poised to cleanse Elvis' upper body. "Eh?" she gasped, her eyes widening in shock at the unexpected sight before her.

Elvis, too, was startled by the sudden encounter. For a few moments, the two stood in stunned silence, neither daring to break the spell that had descended upon them.

"Diana?" Elvis finally managed, hoping to confirm that he was not hallucinating.

Tears of joy welled up in Diana's eyes as she gazed at the familiar face before her. "Is it truly you, Elvis?" she choked out, her voice thick with emotion.

Elvis offered a small smile, placing a comforting hand on her head and rubbing it gently. "It is I," he assured her, "I have returned."

Overwhelmed with emotion, Diana tossed the rag aside and flung herself into Elvis' waiting arms.

Tears streamed down her cheeks as she embraced him tightly, reveling in the warmth and security of his familiar presence.
