48 Tragedy

"No!" Leo yelled as he felt for a pulse. The bullet had struck him in the in the chest and with Leo's expert medical knowledge he could tell that it had hit the heart. There was nothing he could do at that moment to save Mr Jones from certain death but he didn't want to acknowledge that.

"Aaah!" He yelled in fury and then he heard the sound of footsteps clattering away in a hurry. He could hear police sirens around but that didn't stop him. He leaped over cars and cut corners as he chased down the shooter with murderous intent.

The shooter was a slightly heavy man and he stood no chance in the world against Leo and he dived straight and struck him in the back. They both fell over and rolled for a split second before Leo was back on his case.

He wrapped his strong arms around the shooters neck and began to squeeze with his anger in full display as he roared.

"Step away from him and put your hands in the air!!" He heard a shouted command come from a powerful voice behind him.
