"Why have you decided to fail me a second time, Morris?" Mr. Sterling's voice boomed as soon as Morris entered his office.

His expression was stern and his eyes were piercing.

Morris bowed his head. He was feeling the weight of Mr. Sterling's disappointment bearing down on him. "I... I'm sorry, sir," he stammered with a voice that was barely above a whisper. "It wasn't intentional. Things just didn't go as planned. Our inside man didn't get us any more info…"

But Mr. Sterling would not have any of that as he paced back and forth behind his desk. "Unbelievable! You put your trust in Tom?" he muttered and shook his head in disbelief. "I trusted you to handle this, and once again, you've let me down."
