Chapter 3

Jake pulled away from the man and then adjusted his clothes from swinging away, the man looked at him. And Jake smashed in his masculine tone. “Is it my father that sends you or my sister?”

Jake inquired and the man cleared his throat. “Both of them, young madam saw the video circulating,”

Jake clenched his jaw, this was in Silver Planet, he chuckled bitterly at his brother's thoughtfulness.

“What about you tell him yourself? That would be the better, young master.”

Jake, folding his arm by his side in hesitation, gazed down the road. “Are you going to defy me? Taking advantage of my current situation to get me back that is so much like him.”

Jake unlocked the door but found out it was still locked despite his protest.

“I'm sorry young master, but you have to come with us.”

The car engine started and they revved onto the highway. Jake, surprised by the stubbornness of the bodyguards, scoffed and focused his attention on the streetlights.

Memories wafted to him swallowing the lump in his shoulder he reached for the bottle of water.

When they got to the large mansion with a fountain and dark interior, Jake was in complete awe. Everyone bent their head towards him, he was surprised how his father's empire had extended since the past decades he saw him last.

He walked along the routine fountain towards the entrance of the mansion and the door yanked open for him.

He walked along the lavish mansion when a man dressed in a black suit that had a bow tie walked forward to greet him.

“Jake Blake, you've grown into a handsome young man.” The butler simply said.

Jake, not ready to waste a second in this place, raised his head to the man with the vase in his hand. “Where is Janet? Where is the father?”

His question is met with a stoic expression from the butler. Later the butter broke with tears welling up in his eyes into cry,

“Father is dead,” Janet announced, stepping down the staircase, she paused for a while. To console Jake.

Jake, breaking the silence, finally let out. “Suits him, at least I can now live my life without pretending he's dead.”

“Father died of a heart attack after he heard of what happened to you in Silver Planet.”

Janet was the lady of the Blake family, he was already a famous old fox in the business circle. He was famous for seizing profit from his business partners before they could know it.

“Are you saying I killed my father for my recklessness?” Jake inquired in a more serious tone.

“No brother, Father died because he felt guilty for sending you to Silver Planet, instead of protecting you he figured you lived as a bum. He wants you back now so at least we can manage the business together.”

The anger in Jake stirred to another level,

Jake looked around with concern on his face, his sister stepped closer to him and snaked his hand up his back. To avoid endless kidnap, he took his in-law family name and changed his name to Jake Cotoroni.

“I will go back to the silver planet,” Jake said lightly.

“Yes, the mecha master of Silver Planet is looking for an apprenticeship, if I'm lucky I might be chosen by the master, and I might become a mecha master as well.”

Janet looked at Jake and said. “Are you going for the apprenticeship, you might have ulterior motives, in fact, you still can't let go of that witch”

Jake forced a smile. He had been kidnapped by the family business rival many times when he was a child so he had to hide in an ordinary family, who were partners with his family. He let go of his wealthy family and lived an ordinary life to avoid attention.

When he married Sonya everyone thought it was for money. This image was so impressive that Jake found it hard to change.

Sonya's family influenced Silver Planet; she was the favoured daughter of the Cotoroni family. One of the four great families in Silver Planet and Jake was Janet's younger brother, the second young master of the Blake family in Crystal

Planet. The Blake family controlled the businesses of Crystal

Planet with a dominating status so Jake was worthy of Sonya from this perspective.

“Back then you should have told them who you were,” Janet said unhappily.

Nobody took Jake seriously back then, and Janet couldn’t help but hate them when she thought about how his brother was used and betrayed by such gangs of bastards.

Jake raised his head. “Brother, I'm I such an emotional person? I am only returning to learn skills. We might be rich in Crystal Planet but our lack of skill is why the business management in Silver Planet under external executives is not successful. Sonya didn't think twice before hurting me so why should I consider her feelings,”

“I will find some rogue to teach her a lesson for using you and betraying you.”

“Sister, the Cotoroni family is a big family on the Silver Planet. Sonya's status is extraordinary. So doing this might cause big trouble you're a businesswoman, you should know it will give you bones and you're unlikely to succeed, I will take care of this.”

Janet looked at Jake and sighed.

Silver Planet was not a place for the Blake family. They can create and recreate the world on the Crystal Planet but their influence on the Silver Planet was limited.

She took out a golden card and handed it to Jake.

“This is a black diamond gold card, the password is your birth year, and it has your savings since you were born hence there is no spending limit on the card. Take it.”

Jake looked at his sister. “You Are indeed my great sister, if you weren't my sister and you were such a dignified woman I swear I would rather be with you than any other woman.”

“Hahaha, it’s your money and it’s just a part of it. Don’t worry I will send a few bodyguards to protect you.”

Jake collected the magazine from Sonya's preparation he perused through it. She looked at Jake with concern and pity embedded in her cat eye. Jake had never shown anything interesting like the way he checked the magazine in a long time.

Jake's heart itched at the course of his wife's action. “Why are you still here Jake, did you come to beg me to take you in? Because that is never happening in your wildest dream.”

Jake's eyes shot up, he smiled at the preciseness of Sonya's words and said.

“No I won't beg you, I have found a new wife and she willingly settled your father's hospital bill. I'm divorcing you, Sonya.”
