At Sonya Family

“Jake and I got divorced, and I will be marrying,” Sonya said with a satisfied expression.

Her mother stepped closer to her. “That's my girl, that good for nothing don't deserve you. I thought I wasn't the one that gave birth to you when you decided to stay with that bastard.”

Although Sonya felt bad about Jake leaving her when she thought he cowered around and begged her for a second chance, she knew that employing a house help to look after her disabled father was going to incur extra costs for her.

Although Manson was around there at that moment for the homecoming party. He thought to himself, Jake has found a new patron and may not be more interested in Sonya, what he said was. “Sonya is such a beautiful and outstanding lady, I think Jake will not let go of her easily.”

Ella raised her head and said arrogantly. “My sister is not someone he can covet, he's an ugly toad with nothing to offer wishing to dine with swans. Who the hell does he think he is? Serves him right he didn't drag when Sonya filed for the divorce.”

Sonya didn't tell them the truth that Jake divorced her without thinking twice. Instead, she lied that she was the one that divorced Jake.

Manson jumps in. “Jake is just being so shameless, he doesn't know what level he is at, he can never be an elite no matter how hard he tries.”

Ella grits her teeth. “We should celebrate this at the club plus Father being alive, we should tag James along after all he settled the bills.”

“Drinks on me,” Manson said gently wrapping his hand around Ella,

Manson and Ella have been together for five months now, though his initial crush was Sonya but couldn't get her he went for his sister instead which explains why he hates Jake so much and will do anything to have him humiliated.

Sonya shook her head and didn't say anything,

Ella clenched her fist at first Sonya liked James but James rejected her affection and went abroad which was why Sonya was dating Jake who looked like James. Ella always looked down on Jake who was like a dummy in their eyes, she was ignorant and always overestimated herself especially when they were the ones sheltering him.

“Sonya did you know Jake has gotten a new girlfriend.” Manson breaking the news was like a whole new wound slashed on Sonya's chest, she did so well to hide that Jake had moved on from her. How did Manson figure it out so early?

Sonya gritted her teeth. “Where did you hear that? It's just a rumour.”

Everyone looked a Sonya in confusion. “That… I divorced Jake, it doesn't matter who he moved on with.” she swallowed and kissed her father before going out.

“Jake, is that you.” a young beautiful woman walked up towards Jake with a dashing smile on her face.

Jake looked at the lady with confusion on his face. “Who are you.”

I'm Emma, your schoolmate from the business department. I'm afraid that you don't know me. You have already become a famous figure after college! You may not know me, but I know you very well! You and Sonya were a couple of lovebirds who were envied by everyone back then!" Emma seemed to be complimenting, but she said that sarcastically.

"I have broken up with Sonya long ago," Jake said with not much interest.

Emma smiled and said to Jake earnestly, "Don’t fret, Jake. Sonya has a good family background and refined character, her family would be strong if not for her father who is sick and will get on his feet soon, she also has an amazing charisma. She is not a person who would stay with an ordinary man. Being able to have a relationship with her should be something worth recalling. What do you think, Jake?"

‘What do I think? Sonya treated me as a substitute and even dumped me shattering my dream of having a family which was my worst nightmare. In the end, I should be grateful that Sonya gave me a happy memory, should I?’ Jake cursed inwardly.

"Mr Jake, are you here to find work?" Emma asked.

Jake shook his head, "I'm getting a first-class drink."

Emma frowned and asked, "Buying a drink? Mr Jake the current drink price of Cassanova is not cheap! If you can't afford it, you have to go to jail. In the current situation, if you are thirty it's better to get a drink else.”

Jake was speechless, it seemed that his image of a poor ghost was deeply embedded in all of his schoolmates’ minds!

If his sister had known that people on Silver Planet treated him as a poor dog, he didn't know if she would slap him. As his younger brother, Jake had to hurry to help his sister spend some of the wealth.

"I know. How much is the most expensive drink now?"

He came back to Silver Plant this time to take revenge on those who underrated him and also to learn mecha skills. So to get close to the man he needed the Cassonova VIP pass to get more chances to meet this mecha master and become an apprentice under him.

Emma was stunned for a moment and couldn't help feeling dissatisfied with Jake overestimating himself.” "You want the most expensive drink and also a VIP pass, the VIP pass costs 20 thousand. Can you afford it?"

Peter turned to Emma with fury at Jake's dissatisfaction. “You were employed to encourage clients to patronize the business not look down on them you're fired! Don't step your foot here again.”
