CHAPTER 11

It was Logan's former colleague. Not knowing they will ever meet again, but as fate would have it, here they are.

Seeing her in such a state brought anger and rage to him.

"Get away from her, you bastard!"

Sarah Palmer was known for her beauty, even back then in the company Logan worked for, she was often complimented for it.

They weren't that close because Logan was of course a married man and he is known for his loyalty to his wife. So any other females he didn't pay attention to them that much.

Besides at the time, his wife Bethany was very harsh and overly insensitive that seeing someone as beautiful as her close to him would cause chaos.

Bethany was known to be crazy and whoever respected themselves would steer clear off him so as not to attract rage.

Logan was not happy seeing that she was being sexually assaulted by an uncouth individual.

What he was doing to her, was unacceptable he totally forgot that he was being chased by security guards and did what any upright person would do, which is, protect a woman from such a situation.

Bang! Bang!

Logan kicked the fat unscrupulous man away from Sarah and saved her from his grips by dragging her to his side.

"Ahh!!" He groaned in pain, blood began oozing out from his nostrils.

Sarah's top was torn by the side, so she was trying to cover up with what's left of it.

This fat man is the manager of Blue Net Group, he owned 20% of shares in the company. So he is definitely untouchable by anyone.

No one in the company could report him for his frivolous acts; as he is one of the board members of the company.

Everything about him was radiating power which made people avoid him like a plague, they turned a blind eye on his wicked deeds so as not to lose their jobs.

“How dare you badge into my office? Who the hell let you inside this company?” The manager managed to say as soon as he regained his composure.

“Who said you could harass a female worker in this company?”

“Don't you know how to knock, even if you didn't can't you read the sign? It says, ‘Do not disturb' Just so you know, if you were looking for a job here just keep in mind that you have lost it.” He uttered and turned to Sarah Palmer, with a stern look he uttered;

“If I hear even an iota of report from you to the authorities you will have me to contend with. And that project you have been working on for weeks will become null and void.”

Hearing this Sarah Palmer was scared beyond words, she was just a worker in the company, so she was beyond intimidated and didn't want to pursue the issue any further.

She was willing to let this go as she and her team had been working on it for such a long time. They spent sleepless nights on that project, so since much harm wasn't done she decided it wasn't worth it.

Another reason why she wanted to let everything go was because she felt Logan who was trying to help her might be implicated because of her and she didn't want that.

Sarah Palmer is someone you can describe as timid, she wasn't bold and couldn't stand her ground even if she wanted to. To crown it all up, she was kind hearted.

Recalling how Logan was always treated unfairly back then by the other colleagues, made her sad and she didn't want him to go through that here, when he was clearly job searching.

So she felt sympathetic towards him. But something was going on in her head.

She couldn't put her finger on how Logan was released from the police station as news traveled fast.

Henry Donald, who was the company's manager, wasn't going to let Logan get away with this, he was so enraged that he spoiled his supposedly good time with the most beautiful woman he had ever laid his eyes on.

“I will have you arrested for coming in here unannounced.” Henry Donald uttered.

“Haha ridiculous, go on, call the police I also won't let you get away with this. How dare you tarnish the image of Blue Net Group? You will definitely be arrested and dealt with today.” Logan uttered sternly.

Just then the security guards who were looking for him finally found him in Henry's office.

Henry Donald then turned to them and uttered;

“Throw this riff raff out of this company with immediate effect.”

Logan wasn't going to allow them lay his hands on him, so he coldly uttered;

“Don't you dare move an inch, I am the heir apparent of Blue Net Group, personally sent by Mr Terrence Bentley himself to come to the company today.”

Those words sounded ridiculous and hilarious to everyone present that they couldn't hold it in they laughed and began to mock him.

“You wish! You an heir apparent? So funny?” One of the security guards uttered, it was just so amusing to him.

“In all my years, I have never seen someone looking so casual and unkept as an heir apparent. If you really are like you say you are, why are the security guards chasing you to begin with?” Henry Donald retorted, laughing out loud.

“If you really claim to be who you say you are, definitely you would have some sort of ID on you, the manager of this company would recognise you at a first glance as he is one of board members of the company, he should be aware of your arrival not asking us to subdue you.” The chief security uttered.

Sarah Palmer became even more sympathetic towards Logan, she felt he might have some mental disability claiming to be who he wasn't or probably lying just so he could help her from an awkward situation.

“Please Logan let this go, you could go back to jail after just being recently released, if you offend the manager any further, let's apologize.” She said with sympathy in her eyes.

Meanwhile, Henry Donald felt that he could use this opportunity for his own selfish gain, so he decided to exploit and take advantage of that situation to make a lewd request.

“I can forget that this ever happened, if you come warm my bed tonight after this whole shenanigans, what do you say?” Henry Donald uttered with a smirk on his face, looking at Sarah with lustful eyes.
