Standing there while flashing my manhood to an armed girl, I prayed in my heart that she wouldn’t turn out to be a tsundere of the violent type. If she really is one then this situation would have either one of two endings:
One: she accidentally kills me.
Two: she accidentally turns me into a girl.
Her reaction, blushing to the point of steam rising from her head, made me realize what a shameful first impression I was giving right now.
I covered my crotch with both hands and turned away. For some reason, it felt like one of those dreams where you go to school just to notice you weren’t wearing any pants.
The humiliation... I would never wish it on the worst of my enemies.
Turning my back to her wasn’t any good either. Again, I had nothing on at the moment.
Now, all that’s left is to wait for her to scream. If I’m lucky enough she wouldn’t resort to violence. Best case scenario I would be labeled as a pervert and it ends there.
Please don't be a tsundere!
As I waited for the verdict something fell over my head. I try to grab it in a panic and realize it was a sheet of cloth, or a cloak, maybe? The one who threw it was none other than the golden-haired girl. She was still keeping her distance with her spear at the ready.
I took the sheet and examined it. Turns out it’s a cloak after all. It had a dark green color and went a little below the knees when equipped. The fabric was thick but smooth, and though I wasn't an expert on the matter, I could still tell it was of quite a high quality. I didn’t expect it to do much about the cold but in just a few seconds I was feeling warm.
Facing the horned girl once again I was about to offer my thanks, but when our eyes met I immediately averted my gaze.
“… Thank you…” I said as I scratched my left cheek.
Wait, where did all that confidence I had a minute ago go? This is a new me! I shouldn’t be scared of talking to girls anymore!
While I tried to gather my courage the golden-haired girl looked at me with the same amount of surprise as before, only this time there was no steam coming out of her head, and her weapon was lowered for a few moments.
“You spoke…” She said then came back to her senses and pointed her weapon at my face again. “Good, I will have you answer some of my questions… if you don’t mind…”
Quick advice, asking people whether they do or don’t mind doing something for you while pointing a spear at them is a little pointless.
“Um… can you lower that thing first?" I bury the nervousness I felt and do my best to speak up. "I don’t feel too comfortable with a blade that big pointed at me. Well, not that a smaller one would make a difference...”
Like any sane person facing a naked man in a cloak, the demon girl just ignored my request and tightened her grip on the spear.
“First of all, what are you? What is this place and what is its purpose? Most importantly, how do I leave?”
“Um… uh… one question at a time… please?”
This girl doesn’t seem to handle sarcasm well as the glare she had at the start returned to her eyes.
“Okay okay… let’s see…”
Taking another look at my surroundings I was hit with one of the questions myself.
What is this place?
The walls had what seemed like mold growing on them. I spotted a few cracks in the ceiling too. The floor is soaked in some liquid that clearly wasn't your everyday H2O. Pieces of shattered glass were scattered all around me. They probably came from the broken cylinder-shaped container to my left.
Tubes of different sizes and shapes passed from one end of the room to the other. Electric cords hung everywhere. Something is wrong here. This place has way too much technology for a fantasy world.
“Huh?”
A few feet away from where I stood, a number of skeletons were scattered here and there. I step toward them for a closer look but quickly pull away. Those seem awfully realistic for this to be a prank.
Yep, I sure as hell don’t know this place.
“Um…where am I?” I ask, smiling awkwardly and rubbing the back of my head.
Wow, my hair sure is long… as that thought ran through my head the sharp glare the girl gave sent a chill up my spine. The tension increased despite me trying to sound as friendly as I could.
“I will ask you again, what are you?”
I stare back at her, unsure what she meant. After turning the question in my mind a few times I felt my brows coming together.
“Hey, Isn’t that a little rude?” Asking what instead of who? I know she’s really gorgeous but my simp level isn’t so high that I would overlook her dehumanizing me. “I should be the one asking that. What in the world are you? And what the hell are you wearing!?”
Secret techniques: Mad Talk.
Speaking to girls can be extremely difficult, especially the cute ones, but when they show clear animosity toward me I’m able to activate this skill to retaliate. It’s a useful skill to have. However, when the other party is holding a massive spear to your face the effect is drastically decreased.
Actually, a normal kitchen knife is enough to shut most men up. Really, women and knives aren’t a good combination. Who was it that had the brilliant idea of telling them to stay in the kitchen?
“Eh?” She blinked a few times, the intensity of her glare vanishing. She nervously examined herself without lowering her weapon. “Is… is something wrong with my clothes? I think I did a pretty good job up to this point.”
Is she for real…?
Calm down, there is still a high chance that she is a demon. I must fight this evil charm attack. Then again, I have to admit, she IS beautiful. The more I look at her the more I’m captivated by her looks, and I could feel my metapod use hardening again and again.
Noticing my stare the horned girl raised her weapon once more, sounding a bit flustered this time.
“Answer my question!”
“….Sigh… even if you ask me, I don’t know what to say. Am I supposed to tell you that I’m human or something?”
“Human…?” She took a really good look at me. and after a long pause, she suddenly snapped. “HAA!!!? A human, you say? Don't look down on me! Even I Know what a human looks like!"
Hey now. I know I’m not the most handsome dude out there, and I didn’t give the best first impression just now, but denying my humanity out of nowhere just like that? It hurts my delicate feelings, you know?
“Well, I haven't met one before, but...” She added.
"Then that means this is your first time meeting one." This time it was my turn to glare at her. "How the hell would you know what one looks like, then?"
“The news!" She retorted. "I remember seeing them on the news! And in books too!”
Ok, that makes more sense. I don’t think my face is that well suited for television...
Now hold on for a moment! Are you telling me that, after suffering through my short previous life and dying a miserable death, I still don’t deserve a mildly good-looking face? Or are her standards simply way too high? I need to see for myself.
“Th-that’s right!” While I was busy panicking over my new face the girl seemed to get a bit shaken. “Your chest is way too flat! And y-you have th-th-the th-thing! There is no way you are a human!”
“I can’t say I’m following…”
“Your ears are short, you don’t have any horns, you have no wings, no feathers, no fur, no claws, no fangs. Your skin is white and your eyes are small. You are a male, but you don't resemble any of the sentient races present in the known universe… wait, could it be… are you a Synth?”
I wait for her rant to end, unsure what she meant by all of that. Wings? Claw? Are all sentient species supposed to have at least one of those?
“Like I said, I’m a human.” I sigh and feel an illusory pain in my head.
It's like I’m about to remember something, but nothing came to mind except an advanced level of depression.
Surely I went through this kind of situation before… what was it again?… if I remember right it was back when… huh? I can’t remember…
“You say you are human but…” She posed for a second before hitting me with a shocking revelation. “Humans are a unisex species! They don’t have males!”
“…”
“…”
“What did you say?”
They don’t have males?... What?
“…”
“…”
“Really?”
“Really.”
A minute passed, then two. We just stood there and neither of us spoke a word.
Five minutes passed, and the horned girl finally lowered her weapon.
“Huh?” Her lips curved into a doubtful smile. “Seriously?”
Her name is Lilia. She is a female Zesionien from Zsion, a planet in the twenty-first sector of the Gwabara star cluster in the galactic rim of the Luminous Veil Galaxy. In other words: she is an alien.Yeah, I know, I know. She isn’t a demon. What did you expect? A succubus wearing a white dress? Those creatures are known for wearing dominatrix-style black clothes. Although she has horns, the impression I got from our first interaction makes me believe she's more like the serious and surprisingly innocent type. Besides, this place is a little too comfortable for it to be hell.Apparently, I’m on a planet in the same area called Gorgola. My previous guess turned out to be true. Since she introduced herself by giving me the name of her species and the location of the planet it originated from then casually mentioned that we were on an entirely different planet, I no longer had any doubt that the setting I'm currently in involves interstellar travel, meaning the genre of my story had jus
Gwabara star cluster, Sector twenty-one, planet Gorgola, Lilia’s spaceship.By the time we sat down around the campfire, the sun was on its way out. A few minutes earlier my stomach started roaring. Surprised by the loud noise, Lilia proposed we eat first.I didn't know what to expect from alien cuisine but my famished self didn't seem to care. We were having the same rations as before along with some leftover soup Ms. Alien cooked the day before. Going by the color, smell, and taste, I decided to name it tomato soup.We sat around the campfire eating silently, but when we were done it was back to the awkwardness we experienced on the way here.I looked back at her ship. It was clear from the crater beneath it that it had a rough landing. Its body shell and windshield don’t look to be in the best condition and even someone with no experience like me could tell it’s incapable of flight. When I asked Ms. Alien about it as an attempt to trigger a conversation, she told me the engine was d
Sector twenty one, plane Gorgola, Lilia’s space craft. Although it looks quite small from the outside, the craft's interior is comparatively spacious. It’s clean and well organized, you wouldn’t be wrong to think it was assembled recently. In fact it’s too clean for something that crash landed from space. How is this thing still intact? “I will make something for you to wear.” Lilia said as she walked to the back. “You can’t sleep like that, right?” “That’s… something we can agree on.” I’ve been walking around like a pervert for a few hours now. I don’t want to ruin her impression of me any further. “The night is cold too, you don’t want to get sick.” In one of the corners was a glowing ring about two feet in diameter. She pointed at it and told me to get inside. “Stand here, then take that off.” Not like this, a w
After I was done with the shower Ms. Alien began scanning my body looking for any abnormalities. The tube-like space was no simple shower room. It can be used to perform a full-body scan and detect any internal ailments or injuries. So that’s what the boiling water was about, huh? You don’t know what germs and microbes might be sticking to something you found on an uninhabited planet. Better sanitize it just to be safe.I guess that’s another reason as to why she kept her distance from me. Definitely not because I smelled nasty. The scan also took my measurements. Apparently, the ship has yet another sci-fi device that can make clothes out of raw materials you could collect outside. It disintegrates said materials to their base components then uses them to make the fabric for the clothes. The clothes themselves are top quality as far as I know. The problem is they would seem strange as casual wear by human standards.Ms. Alien took it upon herself to make something for me to wear, but
What little memories I had told me I never was the kind of guy who did his business in the woods on a regular basis. It was a truly novel experience, though something told me it would have felt entirely different if we were back on Earth. Finally done, I covered the abomination I spawned with some dirt then washed my hands. The sanitizer mixed in the water stung a little, showing that it was much stronger than I had expected. When I returned to the camp, I saw that Ms. Alien was preparing to go out. She said the morning was the time she used to gather fruits since the most dangerous beasts were still asleep. When I asked why she doesn’t store some instead of gathering them every day, she explained that she only does that when making the rations.Apparently, despite being uncharted, Gorgola housed animals and vegetation that could be found on other planets in the same star cluster. One theory is that most of them were brought there during the attempts to study the planet, which ended up
With no phone or watch I had no way to tell the time, but by my estimations, at least an hour had passed before Ms. Alin returned.Too busy contemplating my existence and missing memories, I didn't notice her until she stood in front of me. It was only then that I saw the strange object she was carrying in both hands.“Umm… what is that?”If I had to describe its appearance, I would say it's a watermelon shaped like an apple. I guessed it was some type of alien fruit, but when I looked at Ms. Alien for confirmation she appeared as confused as me.“This? According to the catalog, it’s a papaya.” She said with a straight face.Of course, that thing didn't look anything close to a papaya if you ask me.“… it seems… different from what I remember,” I commented while rising to my feet, still trying to understand what part of that was the papaya."I saw it for the first time when I arrived here, but I can confirm it is a papaya." She took a step in my direction. "Though since it's still raw,
“You... don’t remember anything!!”Surprise, shock, bewilderment. Those were the emotions that flashed through Ms. Alien, through Lilia's azure eyes. She was stunned for a while, her gaze locked on me as if expecting to be told the entire thing was a joke.“Well, there are things that I remember but…” scratching the back of my head I couldn’t help but look down. “Most of it isn’t of much help.”“You don’t remember your name?” She asked.“No.”“And where you are from?”“I have an idea, but...”Knowing I'm from Earth wasn't of much use. I don't even know if that's what aliens call it.“Any people you were close to? Your family or a friend or…”“No one comes to mind.”They have probably been dead for centuries now. That depends on us being in the same universe, though.“What do you remember then?”“hmm…” I looked up to the sky and tried to collect my thoughts. “I remember having a really bad day and...I almost got killed… oh, and I can recognize my face so I'm most likely still the same p
The conversation seemed to die down after my unintentional flirting attempt. That only fueled the embarrassment tormenting me, but looking at Lilia, I got the feeling that she didn't read too much into what I said.As I struggled to come up with anything to say, Ms. Alien, Lilia, suddenly got up."I will be going back to the ruins." She said. "Would you mind remaining here till I'm back?"My mind cleared at that instant and my head shot up."The ruins?"By "ruins" I was sure she was referring to the underground structure she found me in. There was simply no way I would stay behind while knowing she intended to go there."I'm coming with you."I tried to come across as determined as possible, but that only seemed to bother Ms. Alien, seeing that a displeased expression took over her face."I... don't know about that..." She said.I gazed at her for a couple of seconds, not knowing how to respond. I highly doubt that those ruins have anything that would help me regain some memories, but
I went to take a shower and after I got out I ran into Logan. He was surprised to see me, thinking I wouldn't be up for another few hours. He was holding Blue in his arms. Apparently she was playing with the other kids and fell asleep at some point so he came to put her in her bed. [This kid…]A third candidate, huh…Iris doesn’t seem to like Blue a lot. From the photos I saw and how Lilia described her I can see the similarities, and now that she has cat ears and tail instead of the Zesionien horns, Blue certainly looks like a miniature version of her.Blue reminded Iris of her childhood, and not in the pleasant nostalgic way. What made it worse was something Hir said after my speech.Blue told Lilia that she saw a ghost following me around. That shocked the both of us, but Iris felt frustrated that she never noticed she was being watched, and by a kid nonetheless. Blue was rather talented at hiding her presence, she even managed to steal my book right before our eyes and escaped wh
Sector twenty one, Gorgola’s, Tiga One, Seven. My eyes slowly fell on the somewhat familiar ceiling. The room was shrouded in a weak light and a weird smell wafted in the air."Mm…"The feint breathing sound reaching my ears brought to my attention the weak pain I felt on my chest. Lifting my head to investigate its cause I saw a ball of messy hair with what looked like horns coming out of both sides. One of them was pressed against me, that was the source of the pain."How can she even breathe like this?"Lilia was fast asleep. Seeing her like this makes me wonder if my chest was that good of a pillow. I moved aside the strands that covered her face, carefully stroking her hair. As I ran my fingers into it enjoying how silky it felt I breathed in relief and couldn't help but smile. Our naked bodies exchanged heat underneath the thin blanket. Lilia was so soft and warm. When she is sleeping beside me like this I sometimes forget about the fearsome warrior she was. This is my beautifu
Seven looked at his right hand, soaked wet after it made Lilia climax. The female Zesionien was gasping for air. She looked at him with moist eyes, her breasts moving a little with each breath she takes. Strength had left her body long ago and all she could do was accept his kiss before he gave her a moment to rest."We are just getting started yet you are already like this?" Seven said with a teasing smile. He took the blanket that was pushed aside and used it to wipe his hand."It's because… haa~… it's because you did that… ha~h...""Well, Lilia is so cute I simply couldn't resist." He went down and kissed her once more. "I want to do more… ah! I almost forgot…" He extended his hand to the wall on his left and tapped it twice. A small rectangular panel, green in color, appeared at that spot. It listed a few things; the temperature, the light and the door lock. However what he was looking for was the option to turn off communications so no one could bother them from that point on.
Sector twenty one, Gorgola's orbit, Tiga One.In her room, Lilia sat on the bedside looking somewhat nervous. She tried to calm herself taking one deep breath after the other, but her heartbeat refused to settle, and her body felt incredibly hot.Well, the heat shouldn't be a strange things considering she had finished showering a couple of minutes ago, but instead of cooling down her temperature just continued rising.I-I have to calm down, I can't let this go on!Just when the banquet was nearing its end Seven decided to take his leave. Thinking it was time to get some rest she was about to do the same, but when she rose to her feet Seven wrapped his arms around her and lifted her in a princess style carry. Those who saw it were numbered, with everyone in that place either snoring or too drunk, but she still felt the embarrassment of a crowd watching her being taken away knowing what was about to happen to her.Seven was perfectly awake. Not that sleeping for days enables him to st
Sector twenty one, Gorgola's orbit, the Verta clan’s mothership. The plan went through smoothly. There were a lot of details to go through, but for now Seven declared that it was time to celebrate. Such huge gatherings always called for a banquet. Food and drinks, music and dancing, then some crying and tears. It was a long journey that had finally come to an end. The whole clan went through a lot, and now that they’ve finally reached their end goal they could step back and get some well deserved rest. The Herara partied for hours on end, stuffing themselves before laying down and surrendering to slumber. The conference room was turned into a great hall. It was the center of the party, but now that the music had stopped and the laughter ceased, only a few heavy drunkards were still up while the rest dropped in their place snoring."Been a while since I've last seen this." From atop the stage Hir watched the satisfied expressions of his clan members, holding his cup with a drowsy lo
When they arrived back to the ship Hir summoned all the captains and the high ranked individuals to make the announcement, but he was surprised to find that the conference room was already full.Their patience had ran out. First they hear that the clan head was defeated, then that their goal was within reach. Three days passed and all they got were those two vague sets of information, and while still in the dark they were led to a place they never been to before. The higher ranked clan members were the ones who rallied the crowd to demand an answer from the head. The respect and fear they felt toward him were gone now that they know he lost to someone in a duel, and the longer they had to wait the more destabilized their loyalty became.Hir got on stage and gave a few words to introduce their new leader and as expected, he got quite the backlash. It's the first time they hear about such thing so reacting this way is perfectly normal. There were those who watched the duel between Seve
Sector twenty one, Gorgola's orbit, the Verta clan’s mothership. After it was decided that the Verta clan would be taken in by Seven they immediately set course for Gorgola. They had to call the ZSFCO and ask commander Blitz to order the retreat of the Zesionien forces that came in to intercept them. Though the old man demanded they give him an explanation later on it seemed he was convinced that things would turn out okay. The strain of the fight against Hir ended up affecting Seven more than expected causing him to stay in bed for the entire sixty five hour trip, and with a lot of explanation yet to be done a heavy atmosphere spread through the whole clan.Seven ordered Hir to not tell anyone anything, especially when it came to Iris. As expected, with such a giant battle happening right above their heads the clan members had quite a few questions to ask. Most of them watched their leader lose to a prisoner so they were worried, but their heads were cooled down temporarily when Hi
Sector twenty one, Gorgola's orbit, the Verta clan’s mothership. "Hmm…" Stroking his nonexistent beard, Seven thought to himself. Public speech huh, I don't think I have considered this seriously…"You can spit energy blasts from your mouth yet you can't say a few words in front of people?" Iris being Iris, she started making fun of him the moment he got cold feet.People I won't be killing, that's an important part. Besides, I don't think they have a very positive image of me…In the conference room, which is really just a big empty hall that could fit a lot of people, Seven stood in front of a large crowd. Most of them were the fur covered tiger faced male Herara, looking like what space pirates should look with scary eyes and scars here and there, but with not a single smoker in sight they felt more like a censored version for a kids show. Those were the captains of each ship in the clan's fleet. Two hundred was a big number, some of them brought a few guys from their crews, add
Sector twenty one, the Verta clan’s mothership. "I have finally found you, my lord." Hir said, his head lowered respectfully. "…. Did I fray your brains or something?" Seven replied, one of his brows rising up. "No, I'm in perfect condition both mentally and physically, my lord.""... I don't remember you hitting him on the head. Did you do it while I was knocked out?" Iris said, her head tilted slightly. I… don't know…The fight was done. Rather, if it went any further the ship wouldn't be able to hold. When Hir went down on his knees Seven expected him to admit his defeat, but instead he said something outrageous.‘I have finally found you’… Is he talking about… Seven thought."Nah… there is no way…" Iris added with a weak smile.Seven and Iris already understood what lord he was referring to, and they knew he wasn't exactly wrong. Lilia and Logan were in the dark on this one so they silently waited to see how Seven would react."Anyways, this means you surrender right?" Seven
