Emax fell to the ground with his hands placed on the floor and screams of pain leaving his mouth.

He had landed with his knees leading to both of the shattering instantly and him unable to move.

“What is this sorcery? ” Emax screamed in anger, he couldn't move anymore, it was almost like an external force was pressing down on him.

“Did you think we had shown you our power? You foolish boy, this is the repercussion of being powerful at a young age. ” One of the shadow knights said, raising it's blade and coating it with shadows.

In one fell swoop, the blade came down on Emax's head at a speed invisible to the naked human eye.

The sword gave off a light humming sound, followed by a loud bang from breaking the sound barrier.

Despite the power and speed poured into the attack Emax's head hadn't rolled off his head, instead one of his celestial arms moved in quickly, using it's shield to block the attack.

A low ring vibrated through the shield and slowly cracks began to appear on th
