Chapter Thirty-Four.

The news of what happened to the Knight of Spade made headlines of the morning paper with a vivid picture of his villa burnt to ashes. The city was on awe at the news. Who would have thought the mighty man such as the knight would fall like that. He has lost everything and even the life of his son.

"Mom.. did you see the news?" Clara panicked trying to sit up from the bed. She had been unconscious all night and only woke up at noon after a physician checked up on her. She was lucky there was no case of broken bones. Just bruises and fatigue.

"What does it say?!" Clara snatched the morning paper from May and gaped at the headline. "Suspected Arson; Knight of Spade loses all to flames."

"OMG.. where did you get his from?"

"Found it here at my bedstand. I think the physician left it behind." May said delightfully. "Is God not wonderful? Our problem is solved! The knight won't come after us anymore now he lost everything." May said gleefully. She noticed her mom didn't share in her joy
