Chapter 6: Urging For Divorce.

Talon was furious, his eyes glaring at the unreasonable middle-aged woman, Valeria!

Mr. Reynolds shaking hands with him was a great honor for him!

This stupid woman must not know Mr. Reynolds's identity yet!

Ha ha.

Seeing Talon's angry face, Valeria thought he was angry at Alexander, and quickly said: "Director Byrne, don't be angry, he's just a pile of mud, don't bother with him."

Talon snorted, turned his head, and said to Mr. Marshall: "Mr. Marshall, I'm here to inform you that for Mary's marrow transplant, it is best to use a relative's marrow."

As soon as he said this, Mr. Marshall and the Marshall family couldn't stay calm.

"Director Byrne, didn't we previously agree to use the marrow I bought?" Mr. Marshall said anxiously.

Using a relative's marrow, wouldn't that mean using the useless Alexander's marrow!

No, absolutely not!

Director Byrne coldly looked at Old Mr. Marshall and said: "This is the hospital's policy, and it's also for the patient's sake. The rejection rate of a relative's marrow is extremely low!"

Immediately, Old Mr. Marshall's expression became very unpleasant.

He frowned, looking at Alexander, not understanding why Director Byrne had suddenly changed his stance.

"Director Byrne, can we discuss this further?" Old Mr. Marshall wanted to say more.

But Director Byrne directly dismissed him, saying: "No need, this matter is settled. The marrow will come from Mr. Reynolds here. If he is the child's father, you shouldn't oppose it."

At this moment, Tommy, seeing Talon disrespect his grandfather, muttered under his breath: "Damn! What's with the pretense? At worst, we'll just change hospitals."

Instantly, the atmosphere in the hospital room turned cold.

Talon's eyes became icy, staring intently at Tommy in the crowd.

Rolando Marshall's heart trembled, and he reacted by slapping Tommy, shouting: "You bastard! Who gave you the right to be disrespectful to Director Byrne like that!"

Then, he quickly bowed his hands to apologize to Talon, saying: "Director Byrne, I'm sorry, my grandson is young and impulsive, please forgive his offense."

That idiot had offended Talon; in Golden Harbor, which hospital would accept Mary now?

Talon waved his hand dismissively, snorted, then smiled at Alexander amidst the surprised gazes of everyone: "Mr. Reynolds, I'll be leaving now."

Alexander felt helpless inside, nodding his head.

It wasn't until Talon left that the Marshall family turned their bewildered gazes to Alexander.

"Alexander, what on earth did you do to make Director Byrne help you like that!" Tommy rubbed his face, feeling very angry.

He didn't dare hate Talon, so he could only vent his anger on Alexander.

But Alexander simply said: "Tommy, arguing with me is useless, this is the Dean's decision. If you have the guts, go talk to the Dean yourself."

"You!" Tommy fumed.

Old Mr. Marshall coldly snapped: "Enough!"

Then, his old eyes fixed on Alexander with deep dissatisfaction: "If this is Director Byrne's decision, I won't oppose it, but don't think that by doing this, I'll let Mary acknowledge you!"

With that, Old Mr. Marshall led the others out of the hospital room.

After they left, Alexander looked at his timid daughter on the hospital bed, smiled, walked over, gently patted her head, and said: "Daddy will definitely cure you."

Mary had been very well-behaved, not making any noise.

At this moment, she threw herself into Alexander's arms, crying out: "Daddy, Daddy...."

Hearing her call him daddy, Alexander's heart softened, his eyes reddening.

Not long after, Alexander received a message and left the hospital room.

The medical equipment and medicines had already been cleared away.

The medical staff specialists arranged by Talon were also set up in the hospital.

Alexander walked out of the hospital, and on a nearby street, he saw Sherman waiting with a Rolls-Royce.

He was just about to get into the car when a familiar and surprised voice came from beside him: "Alexander? What are you doing here?"

Instinctively, Alexander looked over and saw Eleanor with a puzzled expression, staring at him and Sherman, and the Rolls-Royce beside them with a strange look.

Beside her were two of her close friends, also looking stunned.

Alexander's heart panicked; he was about to be found out by Eleanor!

Alexander felt a bit flustered, looking at Eleanor's curious eyes lingering on him.

"Why are you still here? Who is this person?" Eleanor's face was somewhat unpleasant.

She couldn't have a proper conversation with Alexander. After all, for the past four years, she had endured the contempt and ridicule of others because of him. She had long since lost hope in Alexander.

But now, Alexander was standing next to a Rolls-Royce.

This....

Alexander awkwardly scratched his head, glancing at Sherman Lopez standing next to him.

Sherman Lopez immediately smiled and said: "Young brother, thanks for showing me the way. I'll be off now. If you need anything, feel free to call me anytime."

With that, Sherman got into the car.

The Rolls-Royce slowly drove away.

Alexander also laughed and explained: "That man didn't know the way, so I showed him."

Hearing this explanation, Eleanor didn't suspect anything.

It was unimaginable; how could her husband possibly be a hidden second-generation rich?

At this moment, a sharp and unfriendly voice came: "Eleanor, is this your useless husband?"

The speaker was a beautiful, stylish woman with large curled hair, bright red lips, wearing oversized sunglasses, dressed fashionably in a black spaghetti strap top and ultra-short shorts, her straight and slender legs gleaming white in the sunlight.

Eleanor's expression changed slightly, forcing a smile as she tucked her hair behind her ear, introducing: "Yes, his name is Alexander Reynolds, he is...."

That word 'husband' seemed very hard to say.

The woman folded her arms, emphasizing her ample bosom, sneering: "Eleanor, you were too hasty, marrying such a useless man. Are all the good men in the country dead?"

Lisa Thomas, the young lady of the Thomas family in Golden Harbor, had studied abroad and just returned a few days ago.

She originally wanted to see Eleanor's useless husband that she had heard so much about, and unexpectedly met him today.

At a glance, he looked like a poor loser.

Eleanor didn't explain, her eyes carrying resentment as she looked at Alexander, who remained calm.

Why didn't he feel ashamed?

If it weren't for him, she wouldn't be embarrassed in front of her friends.

Alexander smiled: "Eleanor, I have to go to work now. Mary's treatment issue has been resolved; they will use my marrow."

"Resolved?" Eleanor was surprised: "How could Grandpa agree to use your marrow?"

Alexander explained: "The hospital dean said it was according to regulations."

Then, he glanced meaningfully at Lisa and left.

After Alexander left, Eleanor was still somewhat distracted. She quickly led her two friends into the hospital and, after confirming the matter, breathed a sigh of relief.

"Eleanor, I'm telling you, you need to divorce that useless Alexander soon. I'll introduce you to some good men, all wealthy and influential in Golden Harbor. If that's not enough, I have some foreign friends who are handsome, rich, and skilled."

In the hospital room, Lisa stood by, watching Eleanor carefully tend to Mary.

Another girl standing beside, Kinsley Sims, echoed: "That's right, Eleanor, it's been four years. I feel it's not worth it for you. It's time to settle this once and for all."
