"My Father? Don't joke. My father died when I was born," explained Arryn.
Quentin smiled. He remembered with certainty the thrilling events when Arryn was born. At that time, the Three Great Gods of Athanor arrived with a roar and storm; they planned to meet Quentin and tell the man about his son's power.
He's just an ordinary farmer; daily, he struggles with fields and hoes. The arrival of the Three Great Gods of Athanor frightened Quentin, with his face turning white as death.
Elyseus –Athanor's God of Beginnings– says that Quentin must leave Wintermere and study witchcraft. He had to become strong as a Sage to guide Arryn in using his powers.
That was why Quentin had kept his whereabouts from Arryn for seventeen years. He only tells Selena the exact location using the crow's message.
Quentin left a message that if Arryn reached seventeen, Selena had to tell Arryn about his location. Now, Arryn was really ahead of him at the age of adulthood.
"We should talk in my office," Quentin asked.
He invited Arryn to come with him into the Obelisk Tower. Arryn unhesitatingly followed Sage Quentin's steps, even though he had to keep his distance because he still didn't believe what Quentin said.
"How's Selena?" Sage Quentin asked.
Arryn stopped when he heard Quentin ask how his mother was. Arryn didn't expect him to find out his mother's name, though Arryn still couldn't believe Quentin was his father.
"How did you know about Selena? Is it true that you are my father?" Arryn asked, still in disbelief.
"I already told you that I am your father. Why do you still not believe me?" explained Quentin.
He also stopped walking while turning his head, looking at Arryn, who looked confused by all that was happening.
"My mother is dead. She died being burnt alive by the villagers," whispered Arryn, turning his head away from Quentin's gaze.
Sage Quentin was left speechless. He was shocked, sad, and angry to hear the news about his wife. His eyes widened, looking glassy as if was about to cry. However, he thought he should not show his sadness in front of Arryn.
"I'm ... sorry," Quentin said, bowing his head in a low voice.
"It's fine. I let her go," Arryn explained, smiling as he looked at Quentin's expression.
Quentin's expression was completely different from before, which was cheerful and full of smiles. Arryn felt the change in Quentin's aura of feeling to be full of sorrow.
"Are you all right, Lord Sage?" asked Arryn.
Arryn's question interrupted Quentin's reverie. The image of Selena's face that he loved faded and returned Quentin's mind to reality. He turned and saw that Arryn was already near him.
"I'm fine. We'd better hurry upstairs," Quentin replied.
He held Arryn's shoulder and quickly brought him with the ability to teleport to the front door of the office. Unfortunately, Arryn looked so exhausted upon arriving that he had to stand leaning against the wall.
"What magic is it?" Arryn asked, confused.
"Teleportation. I can go quickly to all the places I've marked with my magic," replied Quentin.
He opened the office door and invited Arryn to enter. Arryn quickly entered the room and sat on the sofa, taking a deep breath and managing the tiredness in his body.
Arryn's eyes roamed around the décor of Sage Quentin's office filled with magic arcana and various wooden-framed awards. Arryn also saw Quentin standing with both hands resting on his desk as if he was contemplating something.
"Tell me, why did Selena get murdered by the villagers?" asked Quentin, speaking with a flat expression as he looked into Arryn's eyes.
"It seems that the villagers accuse her of being a demon spy, even though there is not a single piece of evidence to suggest that she is a demon spy," explained Arryn.
His voice was so firm that it was trembling with sorrow. Quentin could relate to Arryn's loss, considering that Selena was the one who raised him since he was a baby.
"Have you chosen your own class, Arryn?" Quentin asked.
It was seen that he walked over to Arryn and sat down on a single sofa. Arryn shook his head, his head bowed sadly in confusion. He was still worried about the threat from the Pantheon that was pursuing him.
Quentin frowned; it was unusual for a youngster of Arryn's age to not have his own class. Sage Quentin asked Arryn the reason for not choosing a class for himself.
Arryn explained that at the beginning, he failed to choose a class, starting from the battle with Aimar, to being interrogated by the Pantheon soldiers. Quentin listened carefully to Arryn's explanation; what happened to Arryn was a sign that Elyseus was right.
"Is there any other way to choose a class other than going to the Pantheon?" Arryn asked.
"Yes, but there is a risk you must accept," replied Quentin.
"What is that?"
"You won't be able to choose a class, but you will get a class randomly," Quentin explained.
Arryn was really in a dilemma. He wanted a class to develop further, but he also didn't want a class other than magic users. Arryn thought hard over the two options available.
"If I go for the second option, who will help me?" Arryn asked.
"Me. I'll be the one to help you finish the class selection," replied Quentin.
Now, the second option is the most promising option for Arryn. He must be ready to accept a class that may not be according to his wishes.
The job classes are divided into three types; magic users, weapon users, and fighters. Arryn wanted to be able to get into the magic-user section, so the possibility could be high or could be small.
"Before that, may I see your status?" asked Quentin.
"Why do you want to see my status?" Arryn asked, looking suspicious.
"I need to know about your base status. It will be useful for class selection later," Quentin replied.
In the end, Arryn believed Quentin's words. After all, the Sage would help him to get into a class.

"Open your character's status menu," Quentin ordered. Arryn pressed the character's status menu until numbers that were ridiculous to Quentin appeared.

"So you really want to be a magic user?" Quentin asked. Arryn nodded.
Quentin smiled for two reasons. First, it's nice to see Arryn planning on continuing his quest for magic. Secondly, he is happy because, with his high desire to become a Mage, Quentin can take good care of him as a father and teacher.
"Do you have your own original magic? I'm sure everyone has their original magic," Quentin asked.
Arryn was a bit doubtful about Quentin's request because he didn't know whether his usual magic was his original. Moreover, he was afraid that when he cast the spell, it would hurt other people.
"I don't know if this is my original magic or not," Arryn replied.
Sage Quentin is ready. He needed to know what magic had made Elyseus come to see him seventeen years ago. He thought Arryn's magic was dangerous, so he had prepared a scroll to seal the power if it got out of hand.
[Summoning System: Two Different Worlds]
Suddenly, a white portal appeared in the middle of Quentin's office. The arrival of the portal suddenly took Quentin by surprise because he had never encountered portal magic like this before.
However, after long enough Quentin waited, nothing dangerous happened. So Sage Quentin had to think, were the gods mocking him right now?
"What's inside this portal?" Quentin asked, curious.
"A world of white land," Arryn replied, his explanation leaving Quentin bewildered.
"White land? Like polar ice?" Quentin asked, Arryn nodding.
Standing in front of the portal, Sage Quentin fell silent while thinking about the good and bad of forcing his way in. Arryn walked towards Quentin while explaining the origin of this magic.
"Is it safe for us to enter it?" asked Quentin, Arryn nodding slowly, a little doubtful of that.
In the end, Quentin decided to enter the portal with Arryn. The appearance of the contents of the portal connects Athanor to another world. However, what Arryn described was like white land, far from what they saw.
They arrived at a desert with a wide area and saw several camels passing, being ridden by several people. They disappeared after through a desert hill which was suddenly chased by Arryn.
Quentin also chased Arryn, who tried to get away from him. He stepped on the ground, which he thought was hot until Quentin was surprised by a large, magnificent building with people working under it.
"Where are we?" asked Quentin, wide-eyed at the far different land than Athanor.
A still rudimentary pyramid, Arryn gasped at the building in front of him. He knew very well where he was.
"It's bad. We are in the era of the Ancient Egyptian Empire."
"Ancient Egyptians? Where's that?" Quentin asked. The Kingdom of Ancient Egypt is a foreign name for Quentin; he never knew other kingdoms. Arryn was confused about what to explain to him, but what was certain was that the two of them were already in different worlds."Somewhere. It isn't easy to explain. But, what is clear is that we are in a different world from Athanor," Arryn replied."If we look at what we're experiencing right now, your power is likely something like dimensional magic," Quentin replied, folding his arms as he watched the workers under the pyramid-shaped building."Dimensional magic?" Arryn asked. He had just heard the magic name, so it was natural for him to feel confused about the meaning of the magic name."A special and rare magic, it is said that it is also difficult to control. That magic can penetrate the boundaries of space to create portals between places," explained Quentin.Quentin suddenly crouched down, holding the sand in his right hand while carefu
***The next day.[Summoning System: Information Status][Welcome][Name: Arryn Vaughan][Level: 28][Title: Unknown][Job Class: Apperentice][Age: 17][HP: 660/660][MP: 710/710]"I've really become a magic user, Ivy," explained Arryn, so happy to see the job class change in his status information."You're lucky to get your class, Arryn. Now you no longer need to deal with the Pantheon about job classes," Ivy replied.Quentin explained in detail what a magic user was, level, then the highest achievement, to the things that had to be prepared to level up.Quentin's level was already at the Noble Tier, the highest class level. It took him about seventeen years to become the sage he is now. Of course, with one goal, to save Arryn by guiding his strength."Master Quentin said something about an apprentice's advanced class," Arryn replied, trying to remember what Quentin had said ye
Some apprentices went straight to the library in groups, some with friends, and some alone. Arryn was still in the practice hall, standing with his group mates."When shall we go to the library?" Aurora asked, worried.Aurora certainly doesn't want to lose quickly to other groups, even though the results of the arcana compilation are individual work. Lucas fell silent, pondering whether it would be appropriate to look for the book now, considering that some apprentices may take more than one book to corroborate a theory."I think we should immediately go to the library to find references," Lucas replied."Then let's go," said Lorelei. She was the most excited when she saw the apprentices leaving this place.Arryn nodded, walking after them all out of the practice room. Ivy flew from the metal railing in front of the audience seats onto Arryn's shoulder.Ivy's sudden arrival surprised Arryn's three group mates. They were wondering about Arryn
"Then what about my friends who don't know about this?" asked Arryn. He was shocked and worried about the condition of his three group mates. “In each reference book, the risks are explained if you choose the wrong Arcana. If they're careful, they'll be able to do it right,” replied Quentin, walking up to Arryn while carrying a book about Arcana. Quentin opened the book and showed the arcana items in each type. Before he could start crafting it for Arryn, Quentin needed to explain this important matter to him. “Though I will guide you, you should know five items in the attack type arcana, starting from Spirity, Examiner, Bloodline, Yoaxin, and Cleave. Each item has a different status increase,” replied Quentin, pointing to the five red round items with a different symbol in the center of the circle. Not only the attack type arcana, but Quentin also explained the heal and support type Arcana. He needed to explain the three because, according to Quentin, Arcana's healing and support
*** The next day. "How are you feeling after the arcana arrangement yesterday?" asked Ivy, perched on a wooden chair with both eyes on Arryn. Arryn was still lying on his bed because he had nothing else to do. Lucas, Aurora, and Lorelei were still busy with their unfinished Arcana. Among the fifteen apprentices, Arryn was the only one who had finished crafting the Arcana. "Quentin said that the stage of adjusting Arcana to my body ended at midnight. I don't feel any different," Arryn replied, raising his right hand before his face. "It seems like your Arcana has integrated with your body well," Ivy said. Arryn nodded as he closed his eyes. "Then, do you have anything to do today?" Ivy asked again. Arryn was silent. The next lesson in Riviela's class would take place next week, so Arryn had plenty of time from today until next week. The books Arryn had read in Quentin's office weren't helping. No single text could explain dimensional magic's origin nor how to control it. Arryn
They immediately took their seats in a room commonly used for discussions. Aurora took the seat adjacent to Lorelei while Lucas took his seat at the side of the table. Lorelei began to open her reference book as she pointed out the arcana items written in it. Aurora and Lucas watched with moving eyes. Aurora nodded her head several times. She already knew the items of each type of Arcana, but Aurora chose to remain silent to avoid acting arrogant in front of her friends. "Before you choose the items to be attached, you must understand what the Arcana is," said Arryn, sitting on the opposite side of Lucas. "I already understand what Arcana is. Can we continue to discuss these items?" asked Lorelei. Arryn looked at Lucas and Aurora, and they nodded in agreement with Lorelei's proposal. The three of them had learned what Arcana was and its functions yesterday. Not only that, Aurora had even made some plans for the items she would use. "You'd better show us your Arcana and explain wh
Arryn invited Aurora, standing next to him, to enter the portal. At first, she was afraid and anxious, but after Arryn convinced her, she decided to enter the portal of light. Aurora was surprised when her feet felt like she was stepping on something warm and soft. The girl kept walking out of curiosity until she stopped in front of a shady coconut tree. Arryn followed Aurora from behind as he looked right and left. He and Aurora were now on a seemingly deserted island. White sand, blue waves, and shady trees welcomed the sea wind. Now, Arryn again didn't know which world he was in. "So, your original magic power is time and space travel?" asked Aurora, her eyes rounding as if impressed by Arryn's magic. "Something like that," replied Arryn, walking to Aurora, playing near the seashore. "Wow, that's awesome magic!" praised Aurora. Arryn smiled as he joined the girl in the water. The two of them enjoyed the moment together until the sun began to fall into the evening. Aurora sat
"Fifth day? I haven't arranged my Arcana yet," Aurora replied. Arryn turned his head slowly to look at the girl hiding behind his back. He realized that this was all his fault. Arryn was unable to estimate how much time was spent inside the portal. "My class is over. We'll meet again next week," said Riviela. It was a coincidence that their instructors were both in the same room. "Did you give us another assignment?" asked Aurora, her mind filled with anxiety about missing Riviela's class. "You have to learn all the spells of basic five-element magic. While practicing, you may feel changes in your body according to the chosen Arcana," replied Riviela. Aurora nodded obediently. She had no problem with five-element magic considering she had mastered it long ago. However, Aurora was still worried about her Arcana, which had not been completed. "Sage Quentin. Can I ask you a favor?" asked Arryn, turning his head to look at the man standing before him. Quentin nodded, his hands folde
