Let Them Be Cursed

Gin looked around. The people around him turned into transparent beings. Their bodies were like translucent water. Those people seemed to be calm about it. They weren't panicked or shocked. Some of them even waved at others.

Gradually they began to disappear. When the sun shone brightly, the town was quiet again.

Gin rubbed his eyes several times. He looked around like an idiot. In seconds, the place became as deserted as a ghost town. Only Gin and Gargan were still standing there.

"Where have they gone? Are they ghosts?" Gargan shouted. She hid behind Gin's back and slightly peeked over his shoulder.

She saw a ghost through Gin's memory. That was one of the unpleasant memories she wanted to forget. Even a sacred being could also be afraid of ghosts.

Gin could not answer that question. He hated ghosts the most. But a disaster couldn't tremble because of ghosts. It was so embarrassing.
