114. Assumptions

After their heated activities, Hazel rested her head on Glenn's chest as he lay sprawled out asleep.

She studied Glenn's face closely, the face of the man she had secretly longed for and never dared to hope for reciprocation.

Now, who would have thought that man would become her husband, and even love her so dearly?

Hazel's fingertips traced imaginary lines on Glenn's chest as her mind wandered. She imagined how fortunate her life had become when suddenly Glenn's hand caught hers.

"Want some more?" teased Glenn, grinning.

Hazel quickly withdrew her hand from Glenn's grasp, panicked. "No—," she refused, shaking her head vigorously.
