200. Throw me behind bars?

Dave had just ended a meeting with a team when he received a call from Alaric. Thinking he wanted to start his usual rants, he refused to pick his call until Alaric had no choice but to drop by in his office.

“Are you ignoring me now? Don't tell me you regard me irrelevant now.” He huffed, leaning against the table.

“What do you want?”

“Silvan is here to see you.” He smirked, looking over his shoulder. “In between, is something going on between you two, these days, you are meeting a bit too frequently and I can't regard it as a coincidence anymore.” He added.

“You know what is going on, quit acting like a novice.” Liam slammed back at him.

Hitting his forehead with his palm, Alaric bit his lower lips, “I keep disregarding Nathan's words, I’m no match for you and no matter how much I try, I can't beat you.”
