"Oh now. You want me to say that again, don't you? You can't afford it so you should stay out of the way." He noted with a thick frown."
"Get away from here or."
"Or you are going to do what? Both of us already know the reason that you are here. To beg of course so why don't you just go along and start doing what you can here to do already?" He noted with a thick frown hovering in his face.
"Or am I wrong? You can steal here rather?"
Andrew was about to say something when he heard a voice from behind making him turn around to see what was happening there.
"What's going on here?" The masculine voice came from behind as the gradual steps moved closer towards them.
From the shirt that the man was putting on, he could tell that he was a sales attendant in the mall.
Immediately his eyes caught up with Henry, his face brightened into a smile almost immediately pushing Andrew out of the way and making his way towards Henry.
"I knew that I was going to be the one to sell this dress and get the whooping twenty percent commission." He muttered under his breath but it was loud enough for Andrew to pick a few of the words.
"How may I be of service to you sir?" He was smiling all through his speech.
"I want to get that suit." He noted.
"Oh. I will get a box to wrap it for you right away. Do you want anything in the meantime? Like water or coffee?" He inquired trying as much as he could to please him.
"Coffee would do." Henry replied.
"But.." Andrew was about to say but before he could even get to make a single sound, the sales attendant stormed out from the place towards the coffee stand.
He returned a few minutes later with a tray and handed the glass of coffee over to Henry.
"Thanks." Henry appreciated it but it only made the sales attendant make a face.
"Thanks? I should be the one appreciating you instead." His face flourished with a smile as a chuckle escaped from his Lips.
"But he got the dress, I showed interest in it first." Andrew finally spoke up and his words were firm.
"And who the hell do you think that you are?" The sales attendant thundered at him almost immediately at the thought that he was going to spoil such a good day for him.
"I don't think that question is relevant. As long as I can afford the dress."
A burst of laughter streamed out from the mouth of the attendant.
"As long as you can afford it. Did you just hear yourself out?" His eyes surveyed the outline of the dress that he was putting on from his head to his toes.
"I am sure that you got those clothes of yours from a thrift shop and you are coming here not to even get a quality material but this?" He frowned.
"Isn't it obvious that he is here for some dubious reasons?" Henry added more trouble to the already flaming situation.
"You are right. How come I never thought of that in the first place? He is one of those thieves who parade themselves as buyers. We have gotten multiple of them before." He frowned.
"I don't know what you guys are talking about... But you are not the owner of this place and can't force me to leave, if there is anyone that can do that, it's the manager."
"Sure I can't?" The sales attendant frowned at him.
He streamed towards the other end of the hall and got a telephone to make a phone call to the security agent but all of a sudden, his hand stopped her from making the call.
"What is the problem this time Kelly?" He heard the voice of the manager making him shudder almost immediately.
"Manager..." He shifted himself immediately.
"Good day, sir." He greeted me with an air of reverence.
"But what are you doing here?" He inquired.
The manager shot a glance at him. From the telephone and back at him.
"About this. There is a man that is trying to rob us off of the one million dollar suit." He noted.
The lips of the manager twisted with so much anger at the thoughts of what he just said.
"Take me to this thief." He noted.
He led the manager backward towards Andrew and he shot a stare at him but there was something wrong about this Andrew of a person.
He seems to know him somewhere.
"And you are?"
"I'm Andrew. And I wanted to get this suit but the attendant is behaving weird." He noted.
"Just take a good look at him, sir... Do you think that he can afford such a thing or he is just trying to play games with all of us?" He noted.
The manager stared at him from head to toe. For some weird reasons, he found him interesting and he wanted to know more about him already.
"And how does that have to do with being able to afford it?" He Inquired.
"If he says he can afford it. Let's give him a try besides he is not getting it Without paying for it right?" The words of the manager were firm.
The eyes of the sales attendant flickered at the sound of that.
"Sir, you can't allow him to deceive you that much. He is just going to waste your time and nothing more and he is not even worth it."
The manager gave it a thought for some and moved over towards Andrew.
"Mr. Andrew, you have to be informed that the price of this suit has been increased by half a million. And you are going to pay if you are here to waste my time so you can always leave now."
"I still want to get it." Andrew did not wave even for a moment
A slight sigh escaped from the mouth of the manager as he turned around swiftly towards the sales attendant.
"Get me the withdrawal machine." He noted
"But manager... I already showed interest in the dress." Henry quickly interrupted.
"That's what I was trying to tell you, I already found someone who showed interest and a fan who also could afford it."
"But I came here before he did..."
The manager sighed, caught on the fence about the decision that he was going to make and finally, he stopped.
"I can tell which of you came first but the one who can most likely afford it should get it. There are a whole lot of wonderful collections here." He added.
"Seriously?" The anger flushed over his face and he stormed out from the place making his way out but he didn't notice that his card fell to the floor.
There was a dark smile that was hanging on the face of the sales attendant but something kept on telling the manager that he had done something wrong and he was certainly going to pay for it in the future.
"I think you should pay for it now."
Henry handed his card over to the sales attendant and placed his password into it
It made some weird beeping sound for a while before it finally brought out the final results
"Insufficient funds." It noted
Henry was confused as he had already been told that there was sufficient money for that particular suit
"I think there is a problem here sir." The sales attendant was equally confused
The eyes of the manager flushed with anger while Henry let out a chuckle.
He had told Clarke, his cousin's new boyfriend, that the money was two million dollars and had removed 500k dollars from it and it was spent already.
But the rest of it was supposed to be enough.
"You can afford the suit?" The manager said with a half yell.
"You said a million five hundred right?"
"And the tax expenses? Is this the first time that you are shopping here?" He frowned.
With the price of it, he already thought that would be eliminated.
"Gulp." A large Lump went doing his spine knowing that he was in a hell lot of trouble.
While he continued to rage with anger, the manager saw the card lying on the floor and he picked it up.
There was only one person that he knew had that card in the whole of the country and there was only one person who could have the card because he had seen it in Andrew's pocket initially but never thought that it was the card. He initially thought it was some white plastic.
He got the card up from the floor and inspected it properly. Even brought up the photo of it on his phone.
"It's him." He exclaimed.
Andrew's father had set up the business for him and now, he knew that he was in a whole lot of trouble
"You fool. What have you done." A thunderstorm of a slap landed on the face of the attendant.
"What have I done?" He Kept on murmuring.
"Get me that suit and package it right away. I will have to make sure that I get Andrew first before it's too late and I am going to deal with you once I return." His heart was on a relay race.
With sudden haste, the sales attendant packed the suit into the packing box and the manager snapped it away from him. His feet made a half run out of the mall as his eyes scanned outside hoping that he was still around somewhere as his heart raced even faster. But no matter how hard he searched, he definitely could see him. "What the hell of trouble haha I got myself into now?" He yelled out in despair. Just then, the sales attendant stormed towards him and immediately he laid his eyes on him, his anger seemed to be flamed up even more at the thoughts of the initial cause of all his troubles in the first place. His teeth grated with so much anger and he felt lol giving him a hard kick on his stomach. "If you want anything good for you now. Don't make a single sound." The manager prayed silently in his heart but it seemed as though today was a bad day altogether for him. "Sir... But what is going on... because." The manager would not even allow him to complete his statement. "D
"For this that you have done, I am going to make sure that you pay for it. You are going to come back to me crawling on your knees for sure.""Let's see who is going to come crawling first..." Andrew graveled back.Seeing that none of them wanted to pull down their guard even for a Moment and end the unhealthy feud between them, Lena took a bold step, holding Clarke's hands firmly."Let's get going, let Least you know there is something that you have that he can never get and that is me." She whispered loud enough for him to hear.Andrew clutched his hands with anger but it did not seem as though Lena was done with him yet as she brought out a card from her purse and shoved it on his face.Even without looking at it, Andrew could tell that it was an invitation card."You are very much invited." She threw the card to the floor as they walked away from the place briskly.A thought flashed through Andrew's hard and a dark smile hovered on his face. "Let's see how this marriage of yours
Andrew raised his head slightly after he beheld the profile before him. Right before him was a moment he could determine the fate of those that had indeed dealt with him. “Sir! Would you like to have anything since today is your first?” She asked him. He glanced at her. “No! You don't need to bother yourself. You can take your leave now,” he said to her. “Okay!” She left his presence immediately. Andrew removed Clarke's profile. He laid it aside. He kept checking through the resumes of other people to see who was best for the job. After a few minutes of a thorough, none of them beat the profile of a young man. Andrew saw excellence in his profile. “I will definitely go for this person!” He thought in his head. Andrew intentionally didn't pick Clarke due to what he had undergone in his hand. Andrew called Clara to his office. Clara stood on her feet. She walked in a rush to his office. Getting into his door, she closed it right behind her, she drew close. Andrew looked up. T
Andrew didn't say a word, he was just watching him to see the drama he was going to perform. Clarke immediately walked out of his office to meet with assistant presidents. “Miss Clara, I honestly do not like this. Did you bring me here to mock me? The CEO is not in there,” he fired at her. Clara was surprised. “That's impossible. The CEO is in his office. Did you meet anybody in there or is it just empty?” She asked him. Clarke heaved in some air. “You are trying my patience! The person I met there is a mediocre! Andrew! Probably he had come there to clean and sweep the floor. What baffles me is what he was doing in the chair of the CEO,” he said to her. Clara's face was met with shock. “You dare call the CEO a mediocre?” She roared at him. Clarke scoffed. “Don't make me laugh, how can that fool be the CEO of this corporation. Tell me another joke, because this one is not funny,” he expressed with a lot of displeasure. Clara looked at him in the face. “I am not joking here, Mr
“Hello, is this Mr Joe ford?” A strange voice asked Joe Ford, the father of Lena when he was having a nice time.“Yes! You are on to the right person. What is the problem?” He asked immediately.“Your daughter had just been involved in a severe accident with her husband. They are at my hospital. Your attention is needed!” The stranger person said to him.“What! My daughter!” He was shocked to his bones. The stranger cut the call. Joe Ford wasn't stable anymore. He walked out of his house and immediately got into his car.He drove all the way down to the hospital. It was a private hospital.
The secretary was in total disarray. “I don't think Mr Clarke will be happy with what I did. But as it seems, I have no choice,” she felt a lot of weight in her heart as her head thought of every way.Mr Ford gave her the shock of her life when he walked out. “I don't know Mr Ford doesn't even care about his son in law. At the slightest chance he got, he slid him out of his finger.” Her thoughts were loud and she was determined to let him know once he got better.……..“Mr Andrew! I am really sorry for the inconveniences he had caused you. I didn't know he would be that dumb,” she apologized on Clarke's behalf.Andrew's eyes winked involuntarily. “It's nothing!” He said and he went b
“You can go in. Kindly inform him that I asked you to taste the food,” she said to him.“Okay!” The driver walked to his door. A single knock and then he walked in.He drew close. “Young master, I brought your food,” he notified him.“Bring it! I am starving already!” He said to him.“Yes, young master. But there was a development In the food. The assistant president asked me to taste it, because I am not the chef that cooked it In other to ensure it is not poisoned,” he informed him.Andrew doesn't seem to be worried about that. “Okay! That excuse is manageable. Next time, introduce yourself
“You can go in now, Mr Henry. Put yourself together!” She said to him.Henry exhaled. He put himself together and then, he walked to his door. Just a single knock, then he walked in.Getting in, Andrew glanced at him, he saw how saggy his face was. He could tell he had been crying, but he ignored all those details.Henry got in front of him, “good morning, sir!” He greeted him.“Good morning! Have your seat,” he replied to him.Henry had his seat. “I want to thank you for what you did for me yesterday. It really goes a long way,” he said to him.Andre
