Chapter 153 : The Salesgirl

Arnold opened the box and found a letter on top of the pile of stuff inside. He took the letter and read it. The contents of the letter were Rachel's apology to Madam Elizabeth and Arnold.

Elizabeth narrowed her eyes at her grandson, who was focused on reading the letter. "What's on the paper?" she inquired.

He handed over the letter to Elizabeth, and then she read it. The apology did not change Elizabeth's views toward Rachel. She still thought that the woman was the one who had hurt her grandson.

"Liar! I know she did this only because she is afraid that I will ruin her life!" Elizabeth exclaimed while clenching the letter and throwing it on the floor.

Arnold did not respond to his grandmother. Instead, he was busy checking the contents of the box, which turned out to contain several foods, one of which was Arnold's favorite food, apple pie. He took the apple pie with a bright smile played on his face. This sweet food reminded him of Liam Aderwin.
