CHAPTER 13

Gabe’s eyes met with Mia. Both kept staring at each other without blinking for different reasons.

Gabe’s eyes were full of love and respect, whereas Mia’s eyes had a hint of pity in them.

Soon, Bart entered Gabe’s vision, skipping his heart beat.

Bart stood next to Mia on the balcony and offered her coffee in a mug. It was Bart's personal mug through which he usually drank coffee, so she politely pushed the mug away.

And Bart didn’t like it, but he smiled.

“Mia… you should now have a better idea about the luna system in your possession,” Bart said. “I gave you that flower because I have feelings for you. You know how much I love you, right?”

Mia pursed her lips.

“My family might act like they love you when the only thing they love is your money,” Bart said, “but I’m not like them. I have always loved you from the bottom of my heart.”
