Chapter LVI

Immediately on arrival at the precinct, she filled them in on the reason for the emergency. She had just received reports that a woman had just been reported missing. According to the officers at the scene, there were no indications of her being murdered. Her boyfriend reported her missing that morning. They had gone for a camping weekend the previous day. That morning, she had woken up for a walk around the park when he heard a scream shortly after she had left the tent.

He followed as soon as he heard the scream but upon running a couple of meters along the path she had taken, he found one of her snickers lying around. He also heard what he said to be the squawking of a vehicle leaving the scene. It was then that the boyfriend called the police to report the incident. Though they had plans to look at the previous murders that day, they had to postpone for a later time. Having shared all this information to the team, they left at once for the park.

Since Detective Pau
