Chapter 1: The Reincarnation of Jayson

"Mr. Jayson, I regret to inform you that the results indicate that your fifth son is not biologically related to you. However, please do not lose hope as this is not the end of the world. Your medical report also shows that you are not impotent, which means that you are capable of fathering a child even at your age," Dr. Sam said in a composed manner.

Jayson abruptly stood up and left Doctor Sam's office without uttering a single word. His mind was reeling with disbelief at what he had just heard.

Could it be possible that the five children he had with his estranged wife Elena were not biologically his own? He shook his head vigorously, refusing to accept the information that Doctor Sam had just presented to him.

The look of incredulity was etched on his face as he walked out of the office, convinced that they were lying to him.

As Jayson stood in the hospital, a young man approached him with news that would change his life forever. "I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, Mr. Jayson, but your wife is marrying Gabby Willow today," the young man said with a solemn expression.

Jayson was stunned by the news and stared at the young man in disbelief. He reached out and grabbed the young man's shirt, hoping this was some kind of sick joke. "What are you talking about?" he demanded, his voice shaking with fear.

The young man's face fell as he repeated the heartbreaking news. "I'm sorry, sir. Your wife is getting married to Gabby Willow, the richest man in Jade City."

Jayson felt a wave of panic and frustration wash over him. "No, that can't be true," he protested, tears welling up in his eyes. He released his grip on the young man and stumbled backwards, his mind racing with questions and confusion.

Feeling weak and defeated, Jayson slowly made his way towards the exit of the hospital.

As Jayson walked through the hospital, he overheard nurses whispering and pointing at him. His heart sank as he heard one of them say, "That's Mr. Jayson. It's so sad that all his children with his wife turned out not to be his." Another nurse chimed in, "He used to be so handsome in his youth. Too bad he wasted 25 years on a woman who betrayed him like that."

Jayson felt a wave of emotions wash over him, but he remained silent and continued walking. He couldn't believe that he had been deceived by Elena for so long. He had dedicated his life to her, only to find out that she was unfaithful. He was now jobless, alone, and childless at the age of fifty. With a rueful smile, he thought about how foolish he had been to believe everything Elena had told him.

As he left the hospital, Jayson kept walking, lost in his thoughts. The blue veins in his arms stood out as he tried to come to terms with his new reality.

As Jayson made his way down the asphalt road, the screeching of car tires filled the air as vehicles came to an abrupt stop. An angry driver shouted from inside his car, "You idiot! If you want to die, go jump off a bridge! I don't have the money to pay for your funeral!" Another driver chimed in, "Crazy old man! There's a psychiatric home for people like you!"

Jayson was lost in his own thoughts and didn't know how to respond to their taunts. He kept walking, seemingly indifferent to the danger he was putting himself in.

Suddenly, a blaring horn caught his attention. Without a second thought, Jayson wandered onto the railway tracks just as a train approached. The ground shook violently as the train barreled towards him. In an instant, Jayson was crushed beneath the wheels, his blood and bones splattering across the tracks. Tragically, he never even realized what had happened as his life was snuffed out in an instant.

******

A bewildered young man stood in a state of shock, his eyes reflecting his deep confusion. Upon closer inspection, he bore an uncanny resemblance to the individual who had been crushed by the train.

As he tentatively ran his hands over his body, he couldn't help but wonder, "Shouldn't I be dead?" His bewilderment only increased as he hurriedly made his way to a nearby mirror, studying his reflection intently.

"Could it be possible," he muttered to himself, "that I have somehow been reincarnated from the future?"

"Why haven't you gone to the market yet, Trashy Jay? Are you trying to starve the Wilson family? If you're tired of taking advantage of the Wilson family's generosity, you should die with your poor family. The Wilson family won't accompany you," Lucy Wilson sneered, showing no respect for Jay's feelings.

Jay's fists tightened with frustration as he recognized Lucy's voice; she had always been disrespectful towards him.

"Why are you just standing there, Trashy Jay? Have you lost your mind on top of being incompetent?" a young man dressed in fashionable clothes named Gabriel chimed in.

Jayson looked up and saw Gabriel, his wife's younger brother, standing next to a scooter. He instinctively checked his back pocket and realized he had been sent to the wet market that day.

Upon realizing that he had been transported 25years from the future with his memories intact, he briefly hesitated before ultimately deciding to continue on his way to the wet market.

Daniel smirked seeing Jayson leave the mansion for the market: "Good, thrashy Jay, don't hide any pocket money."

Jayson went to the wet market to buy some vegetables and foodstuffs. While he was busy shopping, he overheard a group of men talking excitedly. "Hey John, have you heard about the challenge? They're offering twenty million dollars to anyone who can beat Mayhem Hayden," one of them said.

This caught Jayson's attention. Mayhem Hayden was a notorious underground boxer in Jade City, and his opponents always met a grim fate. "Who in their right mind would take up such a challenge? It's like asking for a death wish," Jayson thought.

As he continued to ponder, he remembered that Mayhem had died during the fight, just five minutes into the match. He rubbed his chin thoughtfully, considering the possibilities.

After purchasing groceries, he rode his scooter back home and unloaded them in the storeroom. As he was leaving the mansion, he unexpectedly encountered his mother-in-law, Mrs. Wilson. "Trash, where are you off to? Hurry into the kitchen and prepare dinner," she ordered.

Jayson replied in a chilly tone, "Mrs. Wilson, I am not your slave. If you're hungry, kindly ask the servants to prepare dinner. I am your son-in-law, not your servant."

Mrs. Wilson was taken aback as Jayson spoke to her in a way she had never heard before. She couldn't help but wonder where he had found the courage to retort in such a manner.

After leaving Wilson's mansion on his scooter, Jayson's phone began to ring in his pocket. Retrieving it, he answered to hear a stern voice on the other end.

"Jayson, how dare you speak back to my mother? Quickly crawl back home and beg for forgiveness from my mother."
